But no, a mediocre song for Rahmans standards "Jai Ho" gets one. Its not like they didn't get to notice them at all. Lagaan was nominated for it years ago and had amazing tracks. I call it a symptom of Bieber fever.

They're all the same and when a truly remarkable film is produced people don't recognize it. It should have gotten an Academy but they hardly ever recognize bollywood in the foreign film category. I think in Dil Se's case it was the ending that everyone hated while people that got it found it to be quite beautiful.
