sujitnarayanghosh on Monday, January 18, 2010 Brother I am bengali from Kolkata and now live in USA. We bengalis usually dont beleive in cast systems and marry even on other releigion. cast system is irrelvant to me as I dont beleive in this. We need to know what we should follow and what not as lot of religious gurus and rulers created lot of these nonsense for their own sake to control the society. Let us make our country and releigion free from all these bad things.
unculturedperson on Monday, January 25, 2010 anyone knows the movie's name?
veekayart on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 @unculturedperson : Kohinoor of Dilip kumar. Excellent move
anandcsulb on Saturday, January 30, 2010 hmm !by the way Krishna was god and radha was a gopi a low caste so caste

agentOOM on Sunday, January 31, 2010 @HeerSletti About your comment that there is no word in Hindi for Freedom.
We infact have 2 words, Swatantrata and Mukti.
HEER S on Sunday, January 31, 2010 i thought these two words were related to rebirth, and not mukti from
humans? an Achoot, untouchable, can he get mukti from being achoot ,in the
society ?
agentOOM on Sunday, January 31, 2010 @HeerSletti The words mean freedom. Freedom from what is a different
matter. As for the caste system, it was initially as division of labor.
Division of labor is a fundamental property/function in nature. Even at the
basic level of cells in a multicell organism, not all cells or parts of a
cell do same function. They all fulfill different roles. Taking it to the
level of human organs, liver is not going to pump blood for your body,
that's the function of the heart.
agentOOM on Sunday, January 31, 2010 @HeerSletti Similarly, not everyone can be a teacher (brahmin). Someone has
to fight and protect against invaders (kshatriya or soldier). Someone has
to be involved in trade (vaish) and someone has to do the menial jobs
(shudra). Unfortunately, as happens everywhere else too, power hungry
people started misusing this division of labor and thus you had this rigid
caste system emerge.
HEER S on Sunday, January 31, 2010 i have been wrong of the word. sorry bout tht. but who is it that decide
WHO can be kashatrya and who can be shudra ?or achout
joshuadiesel on Thursday, February 04, 2010 omg what a perfection!!!!!!!abso

songs, try Laaga chunri me or janak janak tori baje payaliya and such like,
if you like classicals.
hamidfchohan on Thursday, February 18, 2010 Although the Indian Government had entitled Naushad Ali as 'Mosiqar-e-Azam' but Musician Sajjad Hussain, who composed music of Sangdil, had pointed out that a note in this song has been played wrongly.

The00ABC00 on Monday, March 08, 2010 look at the hands of DILIP sahab.the way he is playing sitar is amazing. he was the first and true perfectionist of bollywood, and the greatest actor of Indian Cinema.
prabhurashmi on Monday, March 08, 2010 you people will drag religion in every discussion possible - why is that
so? there are other forums to discuss religion where you can post your
opinions pls divert your energies there - do not spoil the simple pleasure
of a beautiful song by bringing in your highly opinitated discussion of
religion

V.S. Gopalakrishnan on Sunday, March 21, 2010 This raag is called Hamir. Ga ma Dha Ni Saa are important notes. vs gopal
ka39d6100 on Sunday, March 28, 2010 looking at all the religious comments in youtube it is apparent tht evry indian has a grudge n intolerance for other religion. feels like we r sitting on a time bomb. someday all tht is holding us in good decency might break loose, triggering an epidemic of religious fanaticism resulting in nationwide blood bath n destruction. many here might not like my words, but do mark my words. i like to deal wid facts not rosy illusions n emotional brave words abt integrity
ka39d6100 on Sunday, March 28, 2010 truth is the knowledge n knowledge is the power
govindarajanns on Monday, March 29, 2010 What a lovely song by the great Rafi in the Rag Amirkalyani in the
direction of again the great Naushad ?
govindarajanns on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 It is quite evident in all hindi films it is only the singers and the music
directers who are the real heroes from behind the screens give fillip to
the socalled heroes or heroines on the screen. Here Rafi is well supported
by Amir khan,I think
gautam703 on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 thousands of time you have to recite than you will know little about what he is delivering message with every minute size length direction of enjoyment.
ved prakash on Saturday, April 17, 2010 This song is composed in Rag-Hameer by Naushad and sung beautifully by
Mohammad Rafi. This song has inspired every lover of music and has the
power of influencing even western audience, who will be forced by their
hearts to appreciate this song by the sheer quality of this Indian
classical song and the medium rythm-Khayal and Tarana in fast rythm in
Teentaal, followed by Instrumental--Sitar and Sarod medium and fast Gat in
the same Rag-Hameer towards the end.
mdsubramonia on Friday, April 23, 2010 Rafi does it. He transports one to the mystical banks of the river Jamuna - to beautiful Brindabhan and to the Goplikas- mesmerizing mystical cresendos. I can almost hear Giridhar's madhur murali. Thank you, Rafi saheb.
Pmd9013 on Friday, April 30, 2010 @prabhurashmi In some coutries shaving a bear is religious issue 9unlike
music)... at age 14 put veil on girl's face until she dies.. giving up
Islam faith is punishable by death...In those coutries you can't discuss
any other religions (objectively). If world is that much hostile place to
live than I can't see how anyone can over emphasis secularism.
pimt2006 on Saturday, May 08, 2010 The Beauty of this song is best composed and best picturised. It looks that the voice is Dlip Saheb it self not Mohammed Rafi. Dlip Saheb feels to comfort and music is so sweet and looks so beautiful. The sad thing is that, the next generation will not have this amazing. Mohammed Rafi was a jewel in Indian Film Industry. Since Rafi Saheb left this left world no one has taken his place. These days reality show presented many singers but is there anybody who can even touched Rafi Saheb peach.
kurukururock on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 this song transcends religious boundaries. all people can recognize the
joyfulness and loveliness of this song. :)
shankyxyz on Saturday, May 15, 2010 taans were sung by inimitable Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan of Rampur-shasrawan

vedprakashchaurasia on Sunday, May 30, 2010 good music has no language, religion, region, and people who love music this great quality should be above all these things. when we listen to Rafi sahib, manna Dey, Lata, Shamshad begam, Noor Jehan, AR rehman, Shreya Ghosal, you just enjoy the pure nector of music which flows from the throats of great singers direct to our souls through our ears.
