Comments for song "Aigiri Nandini"
shashwat naidu on Saturday, October 12, 2013 Very interesting point you made ma'am but now I'm wondering what qualities
make a certain sound 'satanic'
sandeep saini on Sunday, October 13, 2013 The song is so nicely fused.. Agreed that not a lot of people like this
kind of music but that's your personal opinion and it doesn't and will not
make an amazing song 'Satanic". I would love the people simply calling it
satanic to let all of us know how much do they know about the term and on
what basis have they evaluated this piece of art as "Satanic". Also, please
go ahead and research the word "Fusion". I mean what did you expect?
"Badtameez Dil"??
Dil Arya on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 Hi Santosh, I tried to listen to it but unfortunately it doesn't play
anymore :( Do you know the name of the singer or film so I could find it?
Or in any case if you know how I could get to the song I'd be very
greatful!!!
Yogesh Vaishnav on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 Come-on brother, he is same person who has given Killer fusion like Kattey
:-) Some compositions can go wrong even legend like Rahman is no exception
to this

prashant patil on Friday, October 25, 2013 wht is logic behind mixing devotional song wid love song ??? totally
spoiled the atmosphere created by first lady...
Vineet Thakur on Monday, October 28, 2013 All the essence is lost by the Sona Mohapatra very very bad
seshu kumar on Monday, October 28, 2013 Really LOVED Padma Shri Aruna Sairam's part :) :)
KIRAN KUMAR on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 she is a great singer but being south indian, her pronunciation is pretty
bad but an kannadiga can perfectly pronounce the sanskrit words perfectly,
no offense against any language but this is fact and she reeks of
continuity and there are no breaks between words.
KIRAN KUMAR on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 no serene atmosphere, makes me dizzy, very bad
Tushar vyas on Sunday, November 03, 2013 agar algiri nandi hi bajate toh jyada acha lagta sona ko ni lana tha

Thevar Uday on Friday, December 13, 2013 i dnt know how one can use a devotional song followed by a romantic
song...:)
Pulkit Saxena on Friday, December 13, 2013 It's Sanskrit not tamil
pavikrithu on Saturday, December 14, 2013 superbb ! :) loved it totallyy :)
ramakrishna vedula on Sunday, December 15, 2013 This type of mixing Sanskrit slokas/manthras with Western music in the name
modernisation of music , somewhat can not be appreciated. Its in a way
insulting our own culture n scriptures.
ramakrishna vedula on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 If people that I am insulting music ITS WRONG. I myself a strong admirer of
music including Western and fusion. The music and the rendering by the
singers is very good and shows their prowess. The very concept of such
mixing traditional manthras/slokaas with western BGM will send wrong note,
especially to youngsters who will try to recite the manthras in the same
way thinking thats the right way.
Anashua Banerji on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 sona mahapatra spoiled it
sharath karker on Friday, January 31, 2014 good one'
Nitish Choudhary on Saturday, February 01, 2014 kuch chizon k sath experiment na hi kare to behtar hoga ,, Durga devi maa
ji ka ye Mahishasura Mardini strot bohot hi powerful hai , ye jisa hai
vaise hi rahne de to behtar hoga ...
dono hi singar gr8 hai par gaane k tam jham se Devi bhav hi vo feeling hi
chali ja rahi hai. agar man se iss song ko sunege toh app khud ko devi
ma k adhin payenge unke charno me ...
Saptasati Durga ka ye strot sanskrit me hai na ki tamil me .
Jai mata di .. bless u oll
abbonumata on Sunday, February 02, 2014 Its sanskrit not tamil...
Sanskrit is mother of Indo-aryan languages like
hindi,bengali,punjabi,sindhi,marathi ,gujarati..etc
Old Tamil is mother of dravidian
languages...tamil,malayalam,kannada,telugu..etc
Still both coexisted together with give and take.
Its Carnatic music specifically uses large number of sanskrit words in song
in its dravidian base..
This song is pure sanskrit
abscondingabyss on Wednesday, February 05, 2014 no match for Power of Aigiri Nandini. Other part could have been avoided ..
Archana Ajmera on Thursday, February 13, 2014 Ouch... sona is a complete no no in this composition. What a hotch potch!

musinipally bhargavi on Thursday, March 06, 2014 Its so cool
Arc Hana on Friday, March 21, 2014 Sona mohapatra's voice is perfect for soft songs. I think Sonu kakkar
(madari) would sound still good . Anyways , loved the rest ! keep making
such music with Indian touch .
ravi simon on Sunday, April 13, 2014 Bravo,
such mystical magic in this chant - how great our heritage is and our
culture - thanks fr fantastic music - cheers Ravi Simon
UTTAM VAMSI Dhar on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 Mr. Coke studio not all songs or prayers are tamil. The song Ayigiri
Nandini is a Sanskrit stotra written by Shri Shri Adi Sankaracharya.and
the traditional song is lot better than this...
Satya Banerji on Saturday, May 10, 2014 Ok I had to agree; Sona Mahapatra did kill the rythem of the Song ! ...
john ivrishka on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 please, stop destroying our culture n traditional prayer. Thnks! Why
leaving our ancestors traditions behind???? Respect other peoples' feelings
and emotions and religion before taking these steps.
Harshal Bhave on Thursday, May 15, 2014 This is where I have reservations. How deviant can we be in the name of
Fusion? Should we disconnect the meaning of the lyrics just because it is
more suited for intense beats?
I am personally fan of this prayer, having performed it on stage in my
school days, I know how it is sung. It opened up nicely, with a little
aggression since its a Mahishasur Mardini song, but it went straight
downhill after that.
What was Sona Mohapatra doing in it? Tere Ishq Nachaya with such a heavy
base, high bpm drumming and lights? Is the song depicts such a dreadfully
aggressive feat of love? I for one would stay away from such a insane
fanatic.
Again we go back to Mahishasur Mardini song, a conceptual shift. I am not
willing to accept such a unholy juxtaposition under the name of Fusion,
Sorry.
nitin bhat on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 1:20 to 2:20 - EPIC

Lalit osale on Wednesday, January 07, 2015 when you start flow with first one suddenly second one break your
concentration
it is Distortion,
it's good or bad. depend on listener
and my opinion is its not justice with Aigiri nandini
Prayer..
Congrats Ram Sampath for powerful starting with high beats
Prem Thakoer on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 1 word, fantastic.
thiruvetti on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 There should be more such attempts which CS Pak can never even think of.
Divine is not only Sufi, there are umpteen other Divine songs in India.
Sadly its become redundant that Sufi is the only Divine music.
There is a huge genre of songs down South if only CS Ind can wake up and
come out of its North Indian shackles.
Hope they dont mix other genres like that Sona's portion which absolutely
killed the original divinity of the song. Not every song can be fusioned.
kavesh khanna on Sunday, March 22, 2015 What a piece of fusion.its not only north meets south but a beautiful
hug from carnatic music to sufi... I mean devotion is subjective but this
is truly some to be cherished forever...hats off coke studio.kudos :)
girish gulawani on Saturday, March 28, 2015 completely destroyed by mixing two in this ...
AmmeMahamaye on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 Aruna Sairam did full justice to this divine prayer to the Mother Goddess,
but the rock music and the tere ishq song seemed like rude interruptions.
