ENERGY..

varun chouhan on Friday, August 17, 2012
Amazing music.. Didn't understand a word.. But it's Awesome!

Anupam Choudhari on Friday, August 17, 2012
The expression and energy exists conveying a happy sentiment. The music,
which is the part I could actually understand, doesn't live up to the
standards set in this season. Drums, especially the cymbals kept missing a
beat here and there. But whatever, cheers on the harvest.

mindlessmusicfreak on Friday, August 17, 2012
This track belongs to a Tamil movie soundtrack than Coke Studio. There's
not much to it as far as arrangement is concerned. Not impressed...

Amber Gupta on Friday, August 17, 2012
sounds fun!!

nsm09 on Friday, August 17, 2012
is it just me i don't know but this song and all other previews for this
episode seems to have the bass turned down and the drums really mellow.

Fidato Sabj on Friday, August 17, 2012
just love it guys to lovely music and singer+dancer :P :) :) :) :)

22Nillay on Friday, August 17, 2012
utti nallam tanni udichion pudoo mandi laagi hai.varun mandi ellley
Wht's All this LOL Anybody got it?

Sharad Narayan on Friday, August 17, 2012
It is not a Tamil movie soundtrack. This is a song by the group La Pongal
from their first album. The song title is "Vandiyile Nellu Varum" - means
"the harvested paddy will come in a cart"

mindlessmusicfreak on Friday, August 17, 2012
Dude...I did not say it "is" a tamil movie soundtrack...I said it "belongs"
to a tamil movie soundtrack.

TheShashaNikki on Friday, August 17, 2012
Just like I expected, Shantanu will bring only Bollywood sense to the
platform !!! And I HATE it more, because La Pongal is one of my favorite
band, and Shantanu made them looked bad... =(

Sharad Narayan on Friday, August 17, 2012
I'm not able to embed the link to the song here, so, just Google La Pongal,
and listen to the song from the album page.

mindlessmusicfreak on Friday, August 17, 2012
Dude!!!...Understand..Let me break it down for u...The arrangement and
everything sounds like this particular rendition of the song should be in a
god forsaken tamil movie and not on a stage like Coke Studio...There's
nothing special about what Shantanu Moitra has done with it.

ashwin krishnan on Friday, August 17, 2012
Doesn't the beats of this song with the nadaswaram resemble the theme song
of Chennai super kings ku whistle podi? Anyone?

Sachin Aggarwal on Friday, August 17, 2012
wat an awful waste of such a wonderful platform by some jokers

TheShashaNikki on Friday, August 17, 2012
Yaaa, he's great, isn't he ???!! His name is Anthony Daasan, one of
respectable folk singer from Tanjavur, Tamil Nadu !!! =)

mindlessmusicfreak on Friday, August 17, 2012
Just listened to it.That sounds awesome!...I guess Shantanu ruined the
whole bass groove the original had...

TheShashaNikki on Friday, August 17, 2012
They didnt bring the complete package of La Pongal, and the Thapattam
(Tamil folk percussion) dancer... That's why they've lost the whole
beats... =(

TheShashaNikki on Friday, August 17, 2012
'Vandiyilae' is a Tamil folk song, so maybe CSK took the tune for their
anthem... =)

Prithwish Roychowdhury on Saturday, August 18, 2012
ha ha ...lol..wat do u know about him n his music career ??? think before
you post dude !!

Swapnil Pagare on Sunday, August 19, 2012
Total Waste...Disappointed from Shantanu Moitra...I wish Coke Studio has
given all episodes to Clinton Cerejo...I can't stop listening to his CS
Songs...

Kartik Srinivasan on Sunday, August 19, 2012
M totally digging the TAVIL !!!

Jude Cardozo on Sunday, August 19, 2012
I was thinking exactly the same thing!

aimmless on Sunday, August 19, 2012
this song is just a waste. i would say not to try folk songs if you don't
have enough knowledge of it.

artisticarchie on Thursday, August 23, 2012
beats could hv been better, transition from usha uthup to the folk artist
wasnt smooth in the beginning...La pongal team havnt been used to their
full potential.Pradeep has a fantastic voice but was hardly heard. As many
people pointed out,the combo wasnt much a success...If the song was any
better,it was the individual performance of the artists in bits and pieces
here n there.

bitsOfOracle on Thursday, August 23, 2012
Are you kidding me ? Did you listen to Yatra by Amit trivedi. The last part
is an amazing carnatic fusion. This is the first tamil folk song by CS in
this season. An equal mixture is required I agree but listen to all the
songs before saying 'its just tamil folk in this type'

johnny suneeth on Thursday, August 23, 2012
Don't get me wrong that i am trying to create a divide here but try and
understand that when its an Indian platform for music i get disappointed to
hear Carnatic music which is one of the two major music forms as just an
accompaniment. I remember Leslie who tried at-least on this front by the
songs i mentioned above and i respect him for that. Trust me there is a
whole world of music in south of which not even 1% is on CS. For national
audience south is just lungies and dholaks.

Jayapal HR on Thursday, August 23, 2012
Refreshing and we need songs from South India and be introduced to global
audience

Sudhakar Iyer on Thursday, August 23, 2012
Hoping Raghu Dixit performs at Cokestudio! :-)

Santhosh Balaraman on Friday, August 24, 2012
Super it is!!! Atop com'ting -ve pls

Vinay Venugopal on Saturday, August 25, 2012
@johnny suneeth here's hoping Malhar Jam helps soften your opinion.

Santhosh Balaraman on Saturday, August 25, 2012
Watching again:-P:-P

johnny suneeth on Sunday, August 26, 2012

Hiteshkumar Prajapati on Friday, September 28, 2012
Amazing feeling i got after watching this song and BTM of this sing...
Great work ... Need to explore more folk music across India.

Tamil Magan on Monday, October 01, 2012
good one!!

brahmabul on Sunday, October 07, 2012
Didn't understand a thing. But the music was really nice. Coke Studio India
has to realize the importance of posting lyrics. I hope in the coming
season they make amends.

PK MASTERY BABA on Tuesday, October 16, 2012
Song rock, like it..

Akshay Ahuja on Tuesday, November 20, 2012
it's so so so soooo much of fun...to seee this video.music is also just
amazing.loved the bass line.the energy is superb! but coke studio
should have translated sub titles.to sum it up...an 'amazing fusion'.

ericcartmansh on Sunday, December 16, 2012
The accordion sound at the beginning sounds like another song from a recent
movie. Anyone recognize it?

zakir husain suthar on Monday, April 08, 2013
