Almost every professional has made it very clear without any hesitation that Rafi sahab was a far superior singer, not only than Kishore Kumar but also than other singers of his time. Lata ji, Manna Dey, SPB, Naushad, OP Nayyar, now Sonu (list goes on) all have spoken in favor of Rafi. So, no use in fighting over the fact! Accept the fact and move on!

why only both, lata, asha, manna da, mukesh, all are legendary. If you do
not think so then you have a very narrow understanding of music. Every
singer have their own style, rafi has a sweet melodious voice, kishore's
energy can not be matched, manna da a classical delight, lata is the queen,
and the list goes on.
