kianwar on Friday, July 13, 2007 One of the finest songs of Lata, although she becomes very slightly besuri
in a couple of places.
diwanee on Sunday, September 09, 2007 sandeep upload more songs from this movie there is an awesome qawalli where

melody. Thanks for posting it
rani123456789 on Sunday, October 28, 2007 In Sunil Dutt's true spirit - he had made a great movie with a really nice
feel to it Great playback music and soundtrack from Jayadev. Excellent,
true literary songs, by one of popular poet Bal Kavi Bairagi. Good
photography with panoramic view of Thar desert of Rajasthan and blue sky
above it. There are few scenes with breath taking beauty of the desert.
jyotitee on Tuesday, December 04, 2007 This is simply an awesome song - reminds me of jaidev's older work in Mujhe jeene do. Incidently the lead pair was the same in the film too.
I didn't find anything even the least bit besura in this song. I sing this at every opportunity.
karamchand22 on Thursday, April 10, 2008 Could you please elaborate, what part of the song she is "slightly besuri" in?
What notes was she supposed to hit and how did she miss?
Priyanka Dhawan on Thursday, June 05, 2008 beautiful song.love it!!
munnibuchi on Thursday, June 05, 2008 if lata is besuri, then sur does not exist! r u a music guru?

himani bedi on Thursday, September 11, 2008 It was RESHMA AUR SHERA.Sunil Dutt's own production which did not do well
at the box office .This was also Sanjay Dutts debu film as a child
artist. He sits along with his father in a qawaali. Also Amitabh Bachchan had
a small role in the film where he looked so lean and thin.Thats how i
remember him.Rakhi was there too in a small but very powerful role.
sandeepgarg80 on Sunday, October 26, 2008 reshama aur shera
Hrishikesh Kumar on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 Reshma Aur Shera
tanguta on Friday, November 07, 2008 why Indian women always singing like cat "miaw miaw" and men like "woww
woww" and singing not with "normal voice" ? only once time I had listened
an Indian song that singing by a woman with "normal voice", it was very
nice doesn't exist any more of "normal-voice-Indian-song" where the voice
of singer can easily recogniced ? I can't listen any more of "miaw miaw"
nickkohri on Friday, December 12, 2008 Indian songs are sung in a higher key than the western songs. This is why they sound operatic and require rigorous classical music training. Western songs are sung in the lower keys. This makes it easier to sing pop songs which most people can sing without any music training. Hence the ease of forming rock groups and quickly making a Top 20 hit song.
You must be born in the sub-continent to really appreciate this music.
tanguta on Friday, December 12, 2008 2-3 Indian "miav-miav-song" could be okay, but listening 1000 Indian song
and all 1000 again of same miav-miav-sound make "peng peng" in my head you
can't recognize the singer by voice, and not only the Western singing with
"normal voice", nearly the rest of the world
nickkohri on Friday, December 12, 2008 I am afraid that this kind of music is not for you. If you get "peng peng" in your head, why do you listen to this music? We have no problem recognizing the singers by their voices. This is our culture so we love it and understand it. Are you from the Philippines?
krishna4all on Friday, December 19, 2008 Something wrong with your ears...all you hear is meow...guess...a cat
screeched in your ear...and blew your ear drum..that song is appreciated
because of the raga...the melody...and the essence of music..
tanguta on Friday, December 19, 2008 all I want to say is why Indian people always singing in same tone (woman
in high and man always in deep), you can listen 1000 Indian song and all
1000 are like the same, I'am searching Indian music with normal voice that
I recognize in that "typical voice", but it's in Indian Music impossible to
recognize this can you say me some Indian music/Indian singer singing with
"normal voice" ? I would be glad when you do it (till today I find only
Paki music with normal voice)
krishna4all on Friday, December 19, 2008 Listen to the songs of shreya goshal...not just hindi songs..but also songs
in other langs..she sung..try abhijeet for male voice..and ..define
normal..typical...i couldnt get you on that ...
homiji2003 on Saturday, December 20, 2008 the song is called tu chanda main chandi
and the movie is titled reshma aur shera
beautiful song!
Thalesh Pathak on Monday, May 25, 2009 before u comment like that u shud better learn music and understand what

Gulraj Singh on Sunday, June 21, 2009 so true...even though its so lifeless...but it has its own charm ...its so
romantic...and so perfect..
kasifllb on Friday, June 26, 2009 When u dont understand this u should not write any comment, it is clera that music for u is the same , as to teach a DONKEY about ROcket Science, U R donkey and this is space science for you.
kasifllb on Friday, June 26, 2009 Lata the great , and weldone Mr.Jai Dev ,
No music is even close to this . nothing on earth can beat Indian Music Like this.

himanpatel on Saturday, August 08, 2009 This song was lost somewhere after i heard for the first time on a TV show
& thanks to SANDEEPGARG80 for uploading. I got it and its really beautiful
combination of Lataji and Jaidev saab..
BubblesPothowari on Saturday, August 29, 2009 Kesaria dharti lagey, amber lalam lal !! Ang laga kar, sahiba kardey mujhey
nihal rey Just too good, actually this composition has 3 melodies woven in
to it. Words, Music, Voice : all sublime.
himani bedi on Thursday, September 17, 2009 you obviously DO NOT understand music and if you find paki music with
normal voice then God help you!!!!!!!you should not be allowed to listen to
this music let alone comment on it.

mvashi56 on Wednesday, April 07, 2010 As someone said .. this film has a history behind it. Sunil Dutt entrusted
this film to Sukhdev to direct it and somehow he made it look like a
documentary.Sunil Dutt took over and nearly went bankrupt making this movie
and this movie while not making any money went on to win Presidents gold
medal and Sunil Dutt had to work in inane films to make up for the loss. In
my view it doesnt matter what kind of music it is Indian or Western , all
of them have finer points in it if one has a open mind

thgrvshh on Saturday, April 17, 2010 What a composition by Jaidev !!!! This video brings the pathos of Rajasthan
alive. There is something unique about this composition - the entire songs
is based on the Dadra taal, but switches to Keharwa in between, and then
back to Dadra. Go figure. I get goose pimples every time I listen to
this one. Lata is heavenly.
aasandu on Friday, May 07, 2010 very tomantc song picturisation is very good touches the hart.
rekha oza on Sunday, October 03, 2010 @sandeepgarg80 great job sir,
kvivekanandan on Sunday, February 27, 2011 Melody to core. Is the music director Jaidev?
kanwarjit1000 on Monday, April 11, 2011 The greatness of Lata can be judged by the fact that Sunidhi Chauhan,
singing one full octave lower(the highest she could sing), or so it seemed,
and singing only the easiest portion of this song, won the best singer
award in 'Meri Awaz Suno'. No other singer in India, past or present, is
capable of duplicating this rendition. Only composers like Jaidev, Vasant
Desai, Salil Chaudhary, Ravi Shankar and a hand full of others, could
extract such performances from Lata. She lives forever!
vdave31 on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 I guess it is raag Des.
nzbbs on Sunday, June 19, 2011 i like sunidhi chauhan;s performance in meri awaaz suno better for some reason!!
dtdipanwita on Wednesday, March 07, 2012 @tanguta and you western ppl sing like you guys are howling. u cant even
sing at top scale in normal voice, you force out too much and as a result
all its sound is howl howl howl. how much u know abt classical indian
music...its the toughest in the world, minimum you have to learn for 12
years to complete alone, you will never find such variations in any kind of
music..thats why we indians can even sing western songs if required but
never vice versa.and pls don show your ignorance more.
