Just before this song the pandit (mehmood) and the Maulvi (yunus pervez),
when realizing that the end is near agree that the Almighty doesn't
recognize religions...that the Almighty belongs to everyone and all belong
to the Almighty.our religious leaders could use a little guidance from
this song.

A correction the pandit was portrayed by Rajendra Nath and not Mehmood who
was a great comedian and character actor in the 60s and 70s.
My apologies

This song makes me realzie that this World ... Land, Food, Clothes, Money
everything is SOOO Materialist and untrue.Humans keep running after
these materialist things and do wrongs deeds for getting such small petty
things...The only truth is GOD ! This whole world and sky belongs to one
power...God !

Gajendra Khanna on Wednesday, October 21, 2015
Lovely lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi. Composition by R D Burman. Singers are
Sushma Shreshtha and Padmini Kolhapure. This was a standard song in our
