Plot: Say some random words in english (jamaican accent or american is
preferable) to screw up the song.

Thanks Coke Studio for this. "Shundori komola" can be such a beautiful song
if done right..even as a fusion.
I'm sorry but this one is an epic fail in my opinion. For people who
understand bengali, this is not just a "Fusion". Its more of a
"Con-fusion". The english part..first of all...does it add anything to
the melody? Also the lyrics have absolutely no similarity (meaning) with
the main part "Shundori Komola" and goes on an unreachable tangent. To me
its like."Tears in Heaven" mixed with "Lungi dance"! The parts were very
well performed on their own. But that's hardly the point of a "Fusion". May
be a more cohesive version can be performed in the near future? Thanks

The first person to popularize this tune was Nirmalendu Chowdhury from
Sylhet in today's Bangladesh. NC later migrated to Kolkata in India.

This tune originates from the Mymensingh Sylhet belt of what is now
Bangladesh. It would be nice if the people who uploaded this video,
includes this information later :)

The comments below prove beyond any doubt that when it comes to misogyny,
we Subcontinental men are the worst. While I agree that this is not really
that good as far as fusion goes, the choice of words to describe the
offending singer is depressingly creepy.

Ahmed Salim on Friday, September 26, 2014
I am a Bangladeshi and I find this incredibly beautifully fused. Infusions
are sometimes necessary to preserve folk songs. There are some people out
there who'd find faults in virtually everything due to their personal
bigotry and hatred towards a certain nation.
