who are the singers ??

hidimb on Tuesday, September 22, 2009
The singers are Lata Mangeshkar & Mukesh

hidimb on Tuesday, September 22, 2009
The second line of this antara reads "naiyya sambhalo kit khoye ho
khevaiyaa". "kit" (or kith) means where and khevaiyya is boatman (the one
who holds the oars), in my opinion this means, take care of the boat, where
are you lost boatman

bobbyfaith on Saturday, December 05, 2009
its just a matter of pronunciation... shor is the right pronunciation, but
sor is a pronunciation style used where... "sh" is always prononounced as
only "s". was this helpful?

Now it seems everyone has a life of their own - moved away, drifted, got
ubber religious or just got too busy living the Canadian lifestyle to
maintain the West Indian family bond. Thanks for the smiles & memories

wahgwanwidcha on Wednesday, December 16, 2009
This song takes me back to my EARLY childhood early 80s-, being together
with family, and often extended family, just about every weekend for no
particular reason. Food & drinks, jokes & laughter, music & singing (still
have the audio tapes somewhere), it wouldnt be long before instruments
would be made from overturned pots/bowls and glass bottles w/ spoons.

I could relate all the same...except back then, I felt like I was too young to appreciate these songs. Now, as I listen to them, these classics have a whole new meaning. ...such sweet songs!
