it is unbelievable how RD Burman just kept belting out one musical
masterpiece after another in the early seventies... he took melodies and
just performed miracles with them! extraordinary talent whose output we are
still grateful for after so many years...

luckydaanth on Friday, July 25, 2008

Hellow dera Rajshri, this is a fine LINK. The melody is diffocult to
render. It is was Lata Ji job to sing with quite ease. The melody contains
MEEND(Musical arch) The use SARI (The application of notes with extreme
quickness in one effort & breathe), it has delicate WIND UP, at the finish
of each melody line. I appreciate your selection and the quality of UP
LOADING. Also thanks to the YouTube, providing chance to listen such rare
songs. my comments may pl; be sent Mr.Rajshri with thanks.

attracted me alot and i liked it...so i watched a bit of the film and

What an extremely beautiful composition by Panchamda and immortal rendition
in Lataji's immortal voice!! I have been listening since I was a kid and
love this immensely like the other songs in this movie. Rajesh Khanna -
superb acting. I wish Sharmila here looked like Sharmila in "Amanush" -
Bengali version where Kishoreda is singing his immortal piece - the Bengali
version of "Dil Aysa Kisine Mera tora" in Amanush in Hindi even though I
know that the context was different. Thanks a lot.

Imrankniazi on Saturday, February 07, 2009
I am surprised you can't differentiate. That is unmistakably Lataji.

jammyjo610 on Monday, February 09, 2009
In this case I guess God Krishna is Rajesh Khanna.array nahi re..;-)

unholophrastic on Thursday, February 19, 2009
"Shaam ko bhoola Shaam ka vaada" wow. Millions of figures of speech in one line. Too good.

rishisecret on Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Shyam ko Bhoola Shaam ka vada...Awesome

dilmeraganaelaga on Sunday, March 22, 2009
MEANS
Evening is going away and you are not coming ting ting ting.sleep is not coming.. Anand Babu(Name) please come and you have come to this temple sshhhh. please sing. In the evening you forget evening's promise..

Rajesh Shenoy on Wednesday, April 01, 2009
Another interpretation: "Shaam" is the name of Lord Krishna. "Shaam ka
vada" is the promise the Lord Krishna gave to each of his 16,000 lovers
that he will spend every night of his life with each one of them. "Shyam ko
bhoola shaam ka vada" means that he forgot in the evening the promise that
he will come that night.

raj sharma on Monday, April 06, 2009
who can sing , give music like this these days , does any body knaow.

dilmeraganaelaga on Sunday, April 12, 2009
