Like all audio versions, this one too omits the third antara...I
presume it will be found only in the actual film clip. Has anyone posted
it? I couldn't see it.

Many of you would have not been born when this melody was created. But the
magic is, Even younger generation today is humming these melodies and some
are mad for them too. What a music, voice and lyrics.

i remember the episode in ' sa re ga ma" on zee tv , when Anil Biswasji ,
the old music stalwart walked in , affectionately carrying a photo of
Talatji . truly miss those gifted souls... such a superb composition !
Madan Mohanji was a genius . Talat saahab's voice is sheer magic..

These songs are the priceless gem, such singers such composers and such
poets are gone for ever and replaced by Dinga Chieeka and Shiela key
Jawaani types and unfortunately this is the trend we have to face and
swallow. ..

what a lovely song.melancholy and haunting feeling with Talat Sahab's
voice & maestro Madan Mohan Sahab's composition..simply superb

Satish Kumar on Wednesday, April 02, 2014
the haunting melody, the orchestration interludes (the waving flute, the
beautiful violin and sitar BGM) - in short the Magic of Madan mohan, the
soothing lyrics, the silky mellifluous voice of Talat..what more can 1
ask..1 of my favourites of this combo

Seems like those were different times altogether. There was taste in music,
cinema & poetry; not to speak of VARIETY & RANGE. Can't dream of another
era with Talat, Hemant, Rafi, Kishore, Mukesh, Lata, Asha, Mannadey ---
each one so unique in their own way. Look at today's scene and it seems
quite pertinent to be asking ''if mankind is really evolving''.

I love talat mahmoods voice..and most of his songs

peterklus on Thursday, November 27, 2014
Dhanyavaad, Khurram Sahib. A superb song. Talat Sahib is the true prince of
ghazals. I'm wondering if you or anyone else has the more complete version
of this song with the missing stanza, as follows:

Phir teri zulf ki ruksaar ki baatein hongi
Hizr ki raath magar pyaar ki bathein hongi
Phir mohabbat ne thadapne ki kasam khaayi hein

I would love to see the more complete version uploaded. Thanks,.
