shirinjaan on Wednesday, June 03, 2009 Dera kha. It is amazing to hear Rafi sahab modulating his voice and pronounciation to suite a pashtoon style. one feels like dancing .dera manana.
shirinjaan on Wednesday, June 03, 2009 Many pashtoons who came to do trade with india stayed back and had their own neighbourhoods for pashtoons. I remember as a little girl, we had a pathan community living behind our house. The pashtoons-pathans were regarded with awe by the indians and knew that a pathan will give his life to keep his word. There are many apashtoons in the bollywood industry. Feroz khan who sadly passed away - may Allah bless his soul, was one.

daud54 on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 A fantastic song in early career of the legend known as Mohammad Rafi, when he was a star in its making. Just imagine a man of panjabi mother tongue singing a song in pushto music with such a masterful command. Rafi will always live in our hearts.
