the song is perfect, except when the chorus ruins it with Lagi Lagi in
their loud voice

anshuld90 on Saturday, August 18, 2012
the problem is that everyone gets too excited "lagi lagi lagi lagi"

Umesh Nawathe on Saturday, August 18, 2012
Kaushikiji's voice is so pure and clean!! :)

Avik Ganguli on Sunday, August 19, 2012
a brilliant musical exercise. @imtiyazkhan19: coke studio is all about
experimentation; putting together some talented musical brains together to
see what results. I fail to see what disappoints you so much about this
track. also, read up a little about keertan and the bhakti movement; maybe
you'll understand why keertan is so light-hearted - and by extension, how
that contributes an unique sound for this song.

nishant agarwal on Sunday, August 19, 2012
kaushiki..wt a voice..!!

Nitin sharma on Sunday, August 19, 2012

what a rendition by kaushiki chakroborty..fabulous:)

Naval Kishore Barthwal on Sunday, August 19, 2012
kaushiki chakroborty love you...!!!!!!

Ambika Sukla on Sunday, August 19, 2012
Like the song overall..but with a few issues..drum/percussion is mixed way
too low..the khol sound should have been much much more prominent. very
weak keyboard section...and the interlude sax stuff is mediocre..something
more interesting would have been delightful..not that it is not a good
song, but i think it was not upto the standards set by others so far

aihik on Sunday, August 19, 2012
Kaushiki Chakraborty-one of the best classical singers in the
country..Pratyush Banerjee-an exponent in Sarod bt still i feel that the
song is very substandard and wannabe..people make any kind of music these
days in the name of fusion music..dats the sad part..The originality of any
form of music is fast getting lost..which is unfortunate..lastly very few
recall the real maestro of Fusion Music..Ananda Shankar..he was much ahead
of his time and really is the king of Fusion Music..

johnny suneeth on Monday, August 20, 2012
love the happy feel of the song. wonderful work from shantanu. its
difficult to maintain some authentic classical touch to this light hearted
song. Definitely one of the best songs this season.

johnny suneeth on Monday, August 20, 2012
OMG i just cant help myself coming back to this song!

ShriShubhashish on Monday, August 20, 2012
This is absolutely awesome! The song is a beautiful piece of folk inspired
music, composed by the very talented Shantanu Moitra and the immaculate and
flawless rendition of it, shows off the versatility of Kaushiki, the finest
classical vocalist of her generation in India today. The use and treatment
of the Bangla Khol (instead of tabla) is very cleverly done to give a
unique texture to the rhythm.

Avik Ganguli on Monday, August 20, 2012
clearly some people have a long way to go before they can absorb the
light-hearted simplicity of keertan. not everything musical has to be
complex drumming and spine chilling qavvali!

Rahul Rana on Tuesday, August 21, 2012
SONG IS NOT CONNECTING WITH PPLS !! WHTS WRONG COKE STUDIO !!

Sadaf Vasgare on Tuesday, August 21, 2012

Absolutely love the guitar solo, it literally fiddles with your senses.

Rahul Bose on Tuesday, August 21, 2012
The song is really groovy, setting it apart from the conventional keertans.

Kshitij Shravan on Tuesday, August 21, 2012

moitra's episodes..So much of positive energy... thats what music should do
to u..When u enjoy what u create, people enjoy too...

Nitish Sinha on Saturday, August 25, 2012

Ye bangali bihari madrasi ,panjabi se bahar aa jaa bhaiii.. ye gaandu
pachisi mat kiya kar... Music ko enjoy kar..

swapnil ratnaparkhi on Saturday, September 01, 2012
this season is really grrrrrrrrrr8. we are now listening to good music from
india. Still yet to come … they should invite more folk singers ….. till
last year everyone was praising pak coke studio. I think indian music is
more versatile then pak's. I am sure coke studio will surprise us with more
fusion.

Rational mind on Monday, September 03, 2012
Tu yahan Regionalism kyun faila raha hai... Music achha lage to achha
bol ya kharab bol.. isme bihari-bangali -madrasi mat ghused... dekh nahi
raha assam me kya ho raha hai...

Imtiaz Ahmed Khan on Saturday, September 08, 2012
Why are you bringing religion out here? I simply did not like the music.
What is so hulla gulla about it? Did i mention out here that i love Sufi
Music and this form is bad in context to that? You kind of stereotypes have
just destroyed the grace which others carry. Get some life dear. Come
out of your dome and see life. You need doctor's help.

healworldlove on Sunday, September 09, 2012
Most of them are too shallow to go beyond religion even when they claim not
to bring it. Its a religious compulsion to belittle others I reckon.

samajder4u on Monday, September 10, 2012
Take a bow Kashiki...your father Pandit Ajay Chakrabarty should be proud of
you..and we are too...

Mr10stiches on Thursday, September 27, 2012
The whole song has an amazing flow to it!

Kaushik Guha on Tuesday, October 02, 2012
Grt obs.Kaushiki is sooo sweet

unculturedperson on Wednesday, October 03, 2012
was just going to ask the raag and saw your comment. thanks a lot

unculturedperson on Thursday, October 18, 2012
It is not Hamswadhani according to me. Hamswadhani has a very typical
sound, one specific tune or alap will be used, also it will be sort of
sweet sounding, typically like these two.

Rayhana Sultan on Thursday, October 25, 2012
Delightfully Lovely :)

Sudhir Nair on Saturday, November 24, 2012
simply beautiful!! swanand & kaushiki..combo deadly!!

Goutam Basu on Monday, November 26, 2012

Let down.. Kaushiki is wasted in this composition.

shaun620 on Tuesday, January 15, 2013
It definitely shows Kaushiki's versatility!!!

swanand bhatwadekar on Monday, January 21, 2013
A masterpiece!!!! heard this live in Vasantotsav 2013.hats of to
everyone.

blaise serpas on Tuesday, January 22, 2013
Kaushiki is one of my favorite female vocalist but this Coke Studio is
terrible. Not only for her but all of the artists by watering their true
talents. It is such so sad to see this

Ashoke Mahtani on Wednesday, January 23, 2013
I totally agree- there should be no parochialism in Music. the language of
music is universal which transcends the narrow and restricted confines of
regionalism. I have not read Bhaskar Bhowmick's comments which no longer
exist but I can guess the contents of the same- that is why Sonar bangla is
languishing behind all the states of India in almost all spheres

Goutam Basu on Wednesday, January 23, 2013
definitely friend

pionyt on Thursday, February 07, 2013
Wow! New fan of Kaushiki! :)

poulami basu on Saturday, February 09, 2013
