Citabria007 on Monday, January 12, 2009 So why can't the Wahabbies become like Sufies?
ABBARULESEARTH on Monday, January 19, 2009 i love this song

p.s
whats the meaning of that light from sky
that kinda falls on akbar
SundaraKapasalathi on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 I think it was to represent him finding religious enlightenment. Sufi priests spin to enter a trance and speak to God.
hariharanjayaraman on Saturday, January 24, 2009 What sick messages on a link for a just a simple nice song. really Sad!
Mzembe on Sunday, January 25, 2009 Wahabbies are on a mission to convert everyone to their ideologies that's why they spend millions of dollars (funded by Saudi govt of course) buying up mosques in Africa and all over and making sure everything preached is based on their doctrine.
They now call themselves Salafis.
dhwanidiva on Monday, January 26, 2009 it is a very beautiful song with amazing lyrics and of course magic of AR REHMAN

cusman78 on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 the whole movie was full of very powerful simple moments
amitabh is a very smart man for recognizing this one simple moment from the movie which stayed in my memory and had me wishing more people would experience moments of clarity and purpose and that it would drive them to be better humans... more soulful and more at peace with themselves and the other people of the world around them
lelyjade on Saturday, February 28, 2009 is it the voice of A.R Rahman?
mudelvan on Saturday, February 28, 2009 Yes it is the genius AR RAHMANJI who is singing!!! HE is a legend
Citabria007 on Sunday, March 01, 2009 Thats good to kn0w persiamir14.
Thanks. Thashekur!
palasseri on Monday, March 02, 2009 I dont think so...if you are serious on the above reply, here is my reply to that. I felt that, in many parts, there is a high degree of resemblance with the way Dwijavanthi is applied in "Kathakali Songs" a classical art form of Kerala. I cross checked the same with one the guru in that field and he confirmed that there are some similarities..anyways, just thot to convey the same to you :)
girlgrg on Wednesday, March 04, 2009 hey.. dude! wut're u on about? when did i EVER bring religion or culture or anything into my comment?
wut i meant was .. there were loads of OTHER songs which were better choreographed than this one!
it's not about respect for culture.. or religion for that matter... i've never attacked either of those sides ...!!!
dude, get ur facts right!!!
happymanlives on Wednesday, March 04, 2009 get my facts right???? =|
k i am sorry if u werent attacking any religion or culture but anyone who read what u wrote about the song will think that u did
"best choreography for clapping and posing as a circling hangman???"
i am sorry if u didnt mean anything..but the way u wrote it kinda seems..offensive but still sorry =[
girlgrg on Wednesday, March 04, 2009 lol... it's alright! u don't hav to apologise..
i do apologise if you found it offensive.. but the only point i wanted to make was that IN MY OPINION.. in 2008 there were much better choreographed songs..! i didn't think this was the best.. i didn't mean to patronise the song or any other aspect of it!
peace people :)
xx
ranjha1970 on Wednesday, March 04, 2009 I couldn't tell you that I found out from NDTV documentry
shamal7 on Wednesday, March 04, 2009 Thanks to both of you guys. Lets make the world a better place to live. Dont bring religion into world of melody harmony

asawant12 on Friday, March 06, 2009 nice song to open a door to SUFISM. which is one of the pointer to know a real being
Babu Tyson on Friday, March 06, 2009 I don't consider anyone religious enough to say someone else is not
religious, and thus ultimately not worthy of being of a particular
religion, as not human. period. enjoy the song will you?
seekerxvii on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 I am Ex-Christian and I now consider myself Agnostic. I have never really identified with Islam in any way but this scene alone in Jodhaa Akbar was one of the most touching and moving things I have ever seen.

umaizsmaky on Friday, March 13, 2009 This Qawali is beauty off all.But most people dosent understand this and tell this is not good (agar gadho ke samne kudba pade to kya hotai?)
shasa81 on Monday, March 16, 2009 its turkish style...i guess it came with mughals when they came to India..
sha83in on Thursday, March 19, 2009 Man has invented RELIGION, biggest mistake in his human life. Fighting all because of RELIGION..!
zaracki92 on Sunday, March 22, 2009 nope.not really fighting is not "for" religion.jus "in the name" of religion, the ultimate reason is power
zaracki92 on Sunday, March 22, 2009 religion is not a bad thing ever. religion sets morals and guidance for life but wen people use religion to aquire power, it just gets ugly
Richard B on Sunday, March 22, 2009 bullseye!!! u've got the right idea and u nailed it in. thx. i just wish
the whole world would understand that
786sunni92 on Thursday, March 26, 2009 kawaja mere kawaja dil main smaa jaa shah ho kaa shah tuu ali (ra) ka dularaa. ALLAH MUHAMMAD (PBUH) CHAR YAAR HAJI , KAWAJA , QUTAB , FARID (ra)
Galfriday23 on Saturday, March 28, 2009 I have to agree with this one, that definitely had me going hmmmmm. Rasuli Akhram is the only king of kings. It is one of his many blessed names, only in english.
Shivaumma on Sunday, March 29, 2009 This music makes me feel as a dust in the wind. It makes me feel part of
something much and much more bigger than my smaller existence. I do love
this video. Namaste!
machiavel76 on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 this song is universal. I am persuaded that bollywood be going to win the
world in next decades. The potential of this cinema has fact. It is us made
all emotions known under an original form. They come out again from it
transformed. The Chinese cinema is in much more smooth comparison.
picologupta on Thursday, April 02, 2009 what is sufi ? why sufi and sunni is connected ?
shoedoctor99 on Friday, April 03, 2009 I don't think that's fair. What do you think constitutes being civilized?
Anyone who is spiritual from any religion or religious tendency within a religion can be civilized. And there are extreme Sufis, just like with anyone else.
Youidiotdude on Friday, April 03, 2009 yes excelent tactics the sword
Shivaumma on Friday, April 03, 2009 I do agree that this music is universal. That's why it can touch everyone,
no matter which culture, country, religion or language that one may speak
or belong too. It's the main characteristic of the sacred things - they can
touch or reach all the human beings.
anusheahmed on Friday, April 03, 2009 I watched this movie today! It wasn't very historically correct and was extremely long BUT i still loved it. I thought both ashwairiya and hrithik(sorry not sure how to spell their names) acted beautifully!
bandev30 on Saturday, April 04, 2009 Listen to Inayat Khan songs, the purest form of Sufi music, he was borb in Baroda, India, and was the father of the beautiful and brave British SOE offcer, Noor Inayat Khan.they are direct desecndants of Tippu of Mysore and Seringna[atna...
