@Pashambay I am sorry, but this song is NOT composed by Manoharlal Khanna.
Music Director MANOHAR is Manoharlal Sonik,of the Sonic -Omi composer
duo.He used to compose music for films alone, before Omprakash Sonik, his
nephew came down from Siyalkot to help him.Later they became arrangers for
Madan Mohan, before Starting as a Team independently. -Arunkumar Deshmukh

@Pashambay Your point is valid. Manoharlal Sonik was half blind when
copmosing as MANOHAR.His condition worsened and he stopped giving
music.Meanwhile Omprakash, his nephew came to help him. They worked for
others. They were Arranger for Madan Mohan, before starting again as a team
SONIK-OMI duo.By this time Manoharlal was totally blind and made only tunes
while Omi did all other work. That is why the big gap.

Mohammad Rafi was a versatile singer and knew the Art of playback singing
very well whereas Talat Mahmood's voice and unique style was most suitable
for sad songs and ghazals. Here in this film CHINGARI song listeners can
really enjoy his superb singing. No one can copy Talat's style of singing.
It's most unfortunate that composers of the calibre of Naushad and SD
Burman gave very few songs to this great singer. " Anil Biswas ne such kaha
tha ke Talat jaisi aawaz kisi aur me nahi..."

raqib56 on Wednesday, May 23, 2012
composition is superb, i can hear saranghi, violin, piano, sitar, mridangam,
mazzah agaya talat saheb ki dilnashin aur pursoz awaaz !!

RealMusicKing on Saturday, June 16, 2012
Greetings. Rafi incorporated himself from G.M. Durrani's style but with a wider range. Rafi could act out any type of song. Talat came with his own style of singing. Talat was bestowed with a naturally vibrant voice full of romance. No one in the east has sung as romantically as Talat. He came to Bombay, upon Dilip Kumars request. Soon all heroes of the 1950's such as Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Bharat Bhushan, Karan Diwan etc etc all wanted Talat to playback for them. Regards.

What a wonderful piece of information!!Y/T is a great platform.Where else
could we hear such great music with comments/information from learned
people like you? Thanks and regards. Mahesh.

Shaukat Jamil on Thursday, February 14, 2013
Tilat, not talat is the correct word which means face,is the finest singer
singer of Bollywood.Lata ji once said there will never ever be another
Tilat. His vibrant voice is a sort of miracle. There is no one who can
coequal him in the art of singing.Mehdi Hasan is far behind. But he has his
own limitations. East or the West Lata is the best.
