more munnis and sheilas or any other hooker... A lot of LOVE and RESPECT
for AR REHMAN.. from a very old fan of A.R Rehman from the OTHER SIDE OF
THE BORDER ;)
chris dueman on Monday, August 19, 2013 Loser...Bong!!!...Let's see if you could do a better job with Tamil...The
thing with you Bongs is that you think no end of yourselves LEARN TO GIVE
CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE...
Sunil Parmar on Monday, August 19, 2013 Sargam+RAP = melody that rocked :)
Bhaskar Bhattacharya on Monday, August 19, 2013 And you too don't comment your mundane with that of Rabindra Nath Tagore.
What he did and created AR might need 2-3 births to read all that. Your
response proved you have little knowledge on Rabindra Nath Tagore, and
nobody whoever had little knowledge about him will just say "ridiculous"
again and again.
Tej Bhaskar on Monday, August 19, 2013 अविस्मरणीय!
Teerath Majumder on Monday, August 19, 2013 very bad english... ;)
Abhijit Mukhopadhyay on Monday, August 19, 2013 ARR is at least trying to re invent Tagore... pl. try to understand and
appreciate his effort. How many modern Bengalis can sing a Tagore song in
full or recite a complete poem ? Don't try to insulate Tagore , he is a
national asset...not Bengal's property.
madhavakamaddy on Monday, August 19, 2013 Jagao mere Desh ko. Feel the music n the words. N do smthng for it.
Jai Hind!!!!
sachin gupta on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 fantastic man
rudresh on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 exactly, another singer with proper bengali pronunciation with same set up,
i would have been thrilled by this.
rudresh on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 Its you who are trying to be oversmart by making personal commnets. I can
pass that as immaturity though. If you have accepted about the diction part
which many other are making here then you should stop there only instead of
dragging it by making another personal comment.
bhanu prasanna on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 it really outstanding performance.
Sourav Dutta on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 feeling proud. Rabindranath - Raheman... Noble - Oscar. whoa what a
combination
Chetan Kaushal on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 amazing team work ...great.. ar rahman born for music
bibhasdmusic on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 A.R.Heaven.
hari krishnan on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 rahman sir's music is like an eternal bliss..!! complete awsomeness..!!
arnab sutar on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 Its a bengali poem written by Rabindra Nath Tagore
shubhabrata sen on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 Some people are complaining that this is not the way to sing "Rabindra
Sangeet". These verses are from a poem so technically it cannot be called a
Rabindra sangeet. If in doubt, please pick up a copy of gitabitan and see
for yourself. There are no musical notations for a poem and hence there is
no "correct way" to sing it.Regarding the pronunciation, yes there are
minor flaws but they in no way impact the beauty of the song. If you want
to criticize, at least get your facts right.
Reji Konnasseri on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 I understand that Arnab... What i meant is ... is the composition (tune)
written in Raag Desh.?
Dibyadyuti Basu on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 I feel really ashamed of fellow Bengalis who are abusing this page by
criticizing Rahman's diction, pronunciation, etc. and his supposed
blasphemy of touching the respectably untouchable Tagore. We have deified
Tagore such that if someone tries to re-invent Him, people will criticize.
Tagore always dreamt of a great unified India & look at his successors who
complain abt mispronunciation of his poem which talks about breaking down
boundaries of countries. What an irony! Jagao mere desh, alas...
shakeb shakeb on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 Tagor! Bangali! Noble prize ..soooo what????
Sunny Borah on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 i do not know why some people are fighting here. great effort by coke
studio..awesome music and nice song .. just enjoy the music. music has no
language. so no need to comment on pronunciation. expecting more more
Vijay Harijan on Thursday, August 22, 2013 Awesomeness to the core...Magic Dignified...:)
injamam ur rashid akash on Thursday, August 22, 2013 boss ...awsm AR..
Aman Richard Anthony on Friday, August 23, 2013 even though a bengali wouldnt give a green flag to A.R. Rehman for his
pronunciation, i'd definitely give him a hug for the grounded approach to
this song, it is the sentiment that matters, not the clarity of words! all
the love to my Bengali friends :D
aadiforu singh on Friday, August 23, 2013 a music is true when it touches ur soul, tears in ur eyes! understand
music..
Soumayan Dutta on Friday, August 23, 2013 Being a hardcore bengali, i welcome this move by Sir Rahman openly.
Rabindranath Tagore is not a personality to be confined within only a
certain language and a few able to speak in that very language. Very nice
experiment at all. And India in 2013 is not a perfect place for stubborn
people.
Tonu Das on Friday, August 23, 2013 Rehman sir you are magician
Yogesh Vaishnav on Saturday, August 24, 2013 You are saying so because you are YOU If A R Rahman would have thought like
you then he would have never been HIM . . Sorry, no hard feelings bro!
UKHairyPotter on Sunday, August 25, 2013 The little girl with the Bass is killing it. Recognised her in other videos
as well. All the Best to her. Great Future.
Ishan Mishra on Sunday, August 25, 2013 Where The Mind Is Without Fear Where the mind is without fear and the head
is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not been broken up
into fragments By narrow domestic walls Where words come out from the depth
of truth Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way Into the dreary
desert sand of dead habit Where the mind is led forward by thee Into
ever-widening thought and action Into that heaven of freedom;
machinengage on Sunday, August 25, 2013 Tagore wud be ashamed of you.
Jaya Vasanth on Sunday, August 25, 2013 Mohini deyin kaigalil deiva arul ulladhu
Mustafiz Bagewadi on Monday, August 26, 2013 The new Anthem for this political year.. we really need to Jagao mere desh

tanmay patil on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 BEst part 5:15-6:00
Aniruddha Ghosh on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 It is a creation, not an alteration of creation. There should not be any
negative criticism since a well paid respect is given by not altering
Tagore's any song. Tagore's writing has brought different meaning to
different people. Sometimes original sense is lost cause that writing
stirred many hearts with different sense. This poem can be feasible with
this theme. A musician adds music to words, not altering old tune with new
flavors. Much appreciated. Waiting for more. Cheers.
Aniruddha Ghosh on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 Tagore words were not being rapped. It is used as prelude. I am strongly
against of alteration of Tagore's creation but adding something new can be
appreciated.
Venkat Subramanian on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 This song is really nice and different. Even i did not like this song in
the first case but when i listened to the second time i was able to feel
the song.
schrodingerzcat13 on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 This is a great rendition. Not everything old be kept untouched, not every
attempt of modernization petty. This is a wonderful contemporary
adaptation. Should shoulder and appreciate ppl like Rahman for this, while
all that Bollywood is churning out in the name of music today is complete
BS.
