rkpatelnz on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Isn't it TRUE that LOVE IS ETERNAL..!!
That is NAME-BODY-BRAIN-INTELLECT-MIND dies, but LOVE NEVER DIES..!!
LOVE,like TRUTH,FREEDOM etc IS AN ANOTHER NAME OF GOD WHOM WE-INDIANS KNOW AS BHAGAVAN PARAMAATMAN..!!
Think about that for a moment..!!

Munibsamir on Friday, June 19, 2009 Can somebody produce this kind of flow, melody and perfection these days? My answer is impossible. The industry is captured by artificial people now.
fuzzyforever on Friday, June 26, 2009 I'm sure that more commonplace stores that sell movies will have box sets that have things like 'Bollywood's Best' that may have some older Indian films. There are also a lot of specialty or cultural stores stores that focus on foreign, older or Indian films. There are also a lot of great non mainstream movie places that have a large variety and possibly a few older Indian films. You can ask friends, check websites to find these places. Ebay and other websites are good to.

justaname5 on Monday, November 02, 2009 Oh please, Saigal was a first rate singer in league with the best; Mukesh was good, but not in the same league imho.

pendsedr on Monday, November 09, 2009 SIMPLY AMAZING! Thank you You Tube and Musique4ever for your efforts in uploading these golden melodies and in helping us (who are in our 40s but strongly attached to childhood memories of listening to these on radio, but never actually getting to see the images) redicover such legends as KLS, KC Dey, Pankaj Mullick & others. Please keep up your good work.
allstringsattached on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 Definitely much more than 40 years. I believe this movie must be dated 1944 or around. that makes it 60 + years.
onlymullika on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 Mukesh and Saigal are from two different generations .Saigal was my mother's favourite, while Mukesh was mine .Can you sing like either ?
Kohana1dreamer on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 I speak English only, would anyone be nice enough to provide a translation?
jpandyaraja on Friday, November 27, 2009 agree with you ..those who dont
appreciate Mukesh cannot enjoy Saigal

shanu7uday on Sunday, January 31, 2010 Many thxx 4 ds masterpiece!!!
Some history... it belongs to film 'Shah-jahan' (1935).
Mr KL Sehgal was born in undivided india (now pakistn). He inspired GENERATIONS of singers like Mukesh,Rafi; Composers like Khayyam/Naushaad & hundred others to follow. FYKI Rafi adored Sehgal as his "Guru".
USP: Sehgal used to sing simultaneously while acting in front of camera (ex: film 'Street Singer") coz playback recording/studios werent introduced in 1930s

pritam786 on Wednesday, March 03, 2010 Jab Dil Hi Toot Gaya...all time classic and wha ta voice of great Shegal Sahaab, May God rest his soul in eternal peace.
777888111geetsiv on Friday, March 05, 2010 i love this song( ab jeeka kaya karanga jub dil he toot gaya
ravisinha67 on Monday, March 08, 2010 This is one of Saigal's last songs. He was very sick when this film was made. Although this is one of the most popular songs of Saigal, he has rendered many more better and powerful numbers which are available in the market but not heard on the media. Present generation would surely like many of his songs. Once you hear them, you are won over. That is the quality and class of Saigal's music..
MukeshT on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 Absolute classic and beyond excellence, yet many fail to connect with Saigal. I could keep on listening to this and never get bored !
Malleck1 on Saturday, March 20, 2010 I love this song.
So well sung!!! So well! Excellent.
Thanks.
Malleck.

Jubailsrini1 on Monday, May 03, 2010 Memories!!! At 7.57 or so everyday used to hear these songs on Radio Ceylon; my father used to be hearing them a lot. Remember 1968 onwards, hearing Saigal song means getting late for my school..what a childhood
