Sanjeev Nalavade on Sunday, October 26, 2008 Dear friend thanx for ur comment. This song is from 1964 film Suraj.I have a
CD of the movie.I just checked again and found that it is Suman K.and not
Lata. This was the time when there was some problem between Lataji &
Shankar-Jaikishan.The duo therefore used many female singers voices other
than Lataji. Two songs from this film are sung by Sharda. Many times Suman K
appears like Lata. This song is one of them.

mlknyc on Saturday, June 27, 2009 Who else but Mohd Rafi can sing like this. I just wish S-J would have opted for Lata or Asha since they are the only ones who can match Rafi Sahab's rendition.

atulks on Monday, August 09, 2010 @1234567890songs ... yes it was Rafi & Suman Kalyanpur as Lata had
refused to sing with Rafi for few years and closest to Lata's voice was her
voice and both gave some memorable duets in the 60's.
