What a sweet voice to go with with lyrics and the tune.

Thanks and Welcome.

Transports you back to simple yet sweet era. Thanks Ramachandraji.

V. Siddhartha on Thursday, August 06, 2009
I have run out of words to describe the sweetness of Lataji's early voice.
Take your pick again; divine, ethereal, heavenly , or choose other glowing
adjectives. All will apply to her mesmerizing murkiyan as we can see here.
Thanks, Ramchandraji. Glad to see that the MD shares his name with you.

ONE OF THE BEST BY THE GREATEST COMBINATIONS EVER: Shankar+Jaikishan, Lath
and Hasrat . I do not have words to describe my happiness that I am so luck
to enjoy these great songs. Thanks for posting this.

@sqhzaidi What a sweet song! Indeed. Sung with such a delightful innocence.
Love these vintage gems. Good to see you here, Qasim ji. I just sent you a
message. Thanks Mahale Ji, for a wonderful upload. Due Regards, Ritu 2:40AM

@chamogaa Vipan Bhai, when I see the view count of this melody to be only
3957 in a long period of about two and a half years (since 25th june 2008)
my heart is filled with some sort of despair. What more one can ask for in
poetry, acting and music. On the other hand one sees countless uploads of
present day musical events/songs which are ordinary in musical terms and
over all grace but have a sky rising view count sometimes running in lacs
or millions over a short period of time. Regards-Qasim

@waqasejazkhan I have got it.

It amazes me equally to see how disengaged only the best of listeners in
the current generation are in tune with the subcontinent's old music. Some
young ones are as thrilled as older folks, but considering how tech savvy
the new generation is I would like to see more widespread fervor. Ajayuv
uploads an extraordinary range of great old melodies daily; the view count
there too should be in multiples of thousands rather than in hundreds.

V. Siddhartha on Monday, December 13, 2010
@chamogaa . The word "disengaged" is superfluous in my comment. A typo.

Recapping favorite songs of my early days--this song flashed across my
mind. In a bid to find it,I ended up pleasantly here--watched it again and
again--was lost in the romanticism of its lyrics--moved by the melodic
excellence of SJK's composition --magnetized by Lata Ji's singing--and
finally swayed by the beauty of Bina Rai's acting. It was such wondrous
feelings that I felt emotionally compelled to post my comments, despite the
fact that the song was uploaded in June,2008. Thanks,Ramchandarji.
