"Urdu origin- 1) persian 2) sanskrit."----both Persian and Sanskrit have
the same origins. even the Vedas were originally in a language which was
somewhat similar to both Sanskrit and Persian. And Urdu was the language of
the barracks(ordu in turkish is barracks). its origins are in Persian,
Arabic, Turkic and Hindi. Hindi was probably a scriptless slang of sanskrit

BeliveInTruth on Tuesday, May 05, 2009
Dear friend bvindh, If one want to learn Vedas, first for serval years one
have to learn Sanskrit. Even same practise is still there in India. I am
surprise Vedas langauge in persian!!!!!!!! yes they may have translation of
Vedas in persian. Hindi is distorted form of sankrit and its not
scriptless.Hindi got ever thing from sanskrit but in deform forms.

BeliveInTruth on Tuesday, May 05, 2009

SID people like are very much required. Some time feel good to have people,
who have higher degree of sence. Keep it up.

I agree with you syed, whats wrong with people, why is there so much hate,
why do they pick on language issues when its not relevant here. We should
as humans behave in more civilised way and not find faults with others.

quirky on Saturday, May 09, 2009
You can take your rant elsewhere b'coz this is a place to enjoy and discuss
good music. Things that touched our heart. Hatemongers like you are not
welcome here.

lausanneepfl on Sunday, May 10, 2009
What an amazing music, singing. So soothing voice. Just taking a bow to
Yesudas. What an amazing singer. Over the years I have heard many of his.
This one is one among the many. Is he not singing these days?

hemantmehndi on Thursday, May 14, 2009
Urdu: --created in India --mughals couldn't talk or understand Hindi, so
they learnt Hindi but added their words and some grammer stuff. --
preserved the font in writing because writing wasn't as important as
communicating. USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. Even British learnt Hindi when they
invaded India. It's the invaders who have to learn the language of foreign
countries because they're very small in number compare to invaded
populations.

ukz1punjabiprincess on Saturday, May 16, 2009
YO, britain didnt INVADE india, in fact india went to colonialise with
india and also trade however the situation after the mughals was so bad
that led the british to stay there are sort stuff out, with the villages
etc etc Britain Didn't Have Bad Intentions. So dont try to make it seem
like they did!

hemantmehndi on Saturday, May 16, 2009
lol. K they colonized India. Took all our money, left us with religious,
political and economical chaos. They had bad intentions all along. Look
what they did to africa.

Malvika Parhasarathy on Friday, May 22, 2009
check your facts before you comment ...Urdu ,fyi ,is a mixture of hindi and
persian . Urdu is a mixture language !

i dont know why some people use such filthy language to make this page-
which is blessed with such a beautiful song- dirty. I request the owner of
this video to remove all filthy comments

knpradeep77 on Sunday, May 24, 2009
i agree with you, it is sad that he did not sing much in hindi movies, i am
sad not tbecause yesudas did not get much songs in Hindi (that does not
make any difference to his unbeatable position as numero uno) but i feel
sad for all those people who did not get much renditions from this Maestro.
What they can do is, they can listen some beautiful Malayalam songs sung by
him, especially those composed by Raveendran, Devarajan, Baburaj etc. etc.

YASHAS BHARADWAJ on Thursday, June 04, 2009
Can you post the full song ;) Not for ragging though..

dirt is part of life especially when a fast rickshaw zooms by creating a
cloud of dust and death too when u die u are buried under the dirt; even
the veggies come out of dirt. i agree this is not the place for dirt but
the problem with dirt is it shows up anywhere it wants to lol

oldsongs1 on Tuesday, June 16, 2009
I remembered this tune from the 70's and finally saw the clip.

SYLFan2008 on Wednesday, June 24, 2009
Khadi boli is the basis for both Urdu and Hindi and Khadi boli has its
roots in Prakrit (a dead language). The Sanskritized version became Hindi
and the Farsi, Turkic, and Arabic-influenced version became Urdu. That's
the answer. Regardless, our daily Hindi speech often mixes Urdu with it. Ab
gadhon ki tarah jhagda karna bandh karo aur Yesudas ka badhiya gaana suno,
moorkhon!

Surinder Dhupar on Saturday, July 11, 2009
SYLFan2008 has said it correctly that enjoy the songs by Yasudas.

terminal747 on Tuesday, August 04, 2009
very nice song,love yasudas.

bhushan pawar on Monday, August 10, 2009
urdu is not even an authentic language; its grammer , sentence structure
etc comes from Khari-boli ( of standard hindi from sanskrit), vocabulary
comes from hindi n farsi...it is one of the many dialects of hindi n
is considered by experts as part of the indo-aryan language family , n
sanskrit is the mother of the indo-aryan language family; ...so ppl who
dont know , shud npot open their mouth, listen to the music chup-chap or
F**k OFF..jaihind jai shivaji

Indeed you have done a great service by writting such wonderful thing about
the Ravinder Jain. I am proud of such people born in India. People like RJ
reached immense heights in Hindi Music during their lifetimes. Thank you
Nawabshaukat.

IronGuy100 on Wednesday, September 02, 2009

vinodkollam1 on Friday, September 04, 2009
It is said that Ravindra Jain was so fascinated by the way Yesudas sang his songs that Yesudas' face was the first he wanted to see if he ever received his vision.

it's too lengthy and time consuming to download a song fron youtube,
pl suggest easiest way(s) to download songs.

jamsheedchaudhuri on Tuesday, September 15, 2009
