shamimb on Sunday, October 12, 2008
Absolutely right - this was such a beautiful movie -such a deep and emotional story -- and the songs are just all such classics. Bollywood should really try to put more of this quality in their stories -- instead of trying to be so Hollywood-like

I always loved meaningful movies made by Bengali film makers, nobody told story like they did. The current decline in quality movies is due to missing Bengali element... and this coming from a Punjabi.

humayun khan on Saturday, May 23, 2009
yu said correct, bengal is the best,

sanjayd411 on Sunday, May 31, 2009
RD Burman is the music director and his father the legendary SD Burman is

You said it. It does not matter what age group an individual is. History of
music and story is from BENGAL.

After 30 years in the US when I see a woman break her bangles it sends
shivers down my spine. The meaning of the sucontinent is our ability to
share these subtle experiences without saying a word.

sunila155 on Monday, April 19, 2010
@deepspirit58 I agree

hellsangelkimbyly on Thursday, June 03, 2010

Saurabh Sachan on Thursday, June 17, 2010

zairt on Sunday, July 18, 2010
@bregoji thanks a lot for the info...but don't do the regionalism thing...every state is talented in its own way had some of the best of directors and story writers...!

Chakdegirl on Thursday, August 19, 2010
@deepspirit58 trust me..I am a punjabi but they have even degraded punjabi
songs and music soo much. If u understand punjabi then listen to punjabi
virsa by kamal heer..its lyrics are much much better and meaningful.u
will like it.

armazromin on Monday, September 06, 2010

Sachine Dev Ji brought the touch of sweetness of true simple ordinary rural Bangladeshi/Bengali folk tune to front end of Indian music in general.
