Thanks for this song

I see in earthmusic that the lyrics are by Prem Dhawan. Of course the
database has some mistakes. Just thought I will share that info. Thanks for
the video.

i wonder how such incredible music takes birth in human mind? the beauty of
this music and all the music we listen from old bollywood is inexplicable,
unbelievable and out of our waking world. for me, it is an unexplained
wonder

An incredibly lilting tune ( hats off to Chitragupta! ) , Lata and graceful Helen wasted on a wooden faced nobody, whoever that was!

Yes, it is Prem Dhawan, Chitrgupt team creating an immortal ,magical
melody. Rarest of rare Gem. R Rehman, ji r u listening? This is original
music, coming from innermost cores of geniune and blessed Music Director,
not thieves and lifters like Pritam and vishaland annu etc. etc. love and
respect this Music, Hats off to these Legends.

Chitragupt was a stalwart highly underestimated during his times. Had strong folk music base hailing as he was from Bihar. All originals--marvellous compositions. Expected FilmFare Award in 1959 for BHABHI but it went to SJ. He felt despaired but went on creating great music. Lata respected him a lot. Later in 1990 his sons Anadn-Milin brought FFAward for father for QSQT. He passed soon after that. ONE OF THE GREATS OF BOLLYWOOD MUSIC AT PAR WITH ANY OTHER OF HIS TIMES.

Aroop Kumar was Ashok Kumar's son but did not succeed in films, though by
virtue of his being Ashok Kumar's son, he got a break

WHAT A MELODIOUS COMPOSITION. WHAT A GOLDEN ERA THAT WAS...

Kalyan Iyer on Friday, March 22, 2013
Rakesh ji,though your post is an year old, I saw it only now. I suddenly
wanted to hear the song "deewane tum deewane hum"and logged in. I felt like
laughing at your dig at today's MDs :-). Really, originality has died. No
wonder even today's ads thrive on old music- an example-aaja pyare paas
hamare, for an insurance provider. Talking of Chitragupt, who can forget
Talat's rendering of the Capt Kishore number -Badal jaaye duniyaan na
badalenge hum? Amen :-) Keep writing !

Heel prachtig met mijn beautiful grand daughter bij Afobakka meer.

Abdullah Jam on Sunday, April 27, 2014
Oh, what a surprise! such a lilting melody for some hero whose presence on
screen is irritating, he is that lazy who is not ready to give any
expression that also opposite vivacious Helenji..!

Jagjit Singh Ishar on Monday, May 12, 2014
Hats off to Chitragupt & lata ji for this sweet melodious divine creation.

LATA'S SOOTHNG VOICE AND CHITRAGUPT'S MELODIUS MUSIC.MEMORABLE SONG

Bharat Patwala on Sunday, October 26, 2014
Sweet& melodic number from Lata. Typical music from Chitragupia is
entertaining.

M. Saleem Raikodi Raikodi on Monday, April 06, 2015
The messmerising voice and the sublime melody has overshadowed the sheer
poetry of this classic. nayee andaaz liye aayee hai yeh raat nayee . zara
sa chhed bhi do aaj koyee baath nayi, nayee mehfil nayee hulchul hai kahan
hum jaane! Wah kya parwaan hai. simply brilliant

nandu1f on Saturday, June 13, 2015
I don't know the actor Aroop, But Helen's charm is undeniably superb. Old
times music to cherish and thrive on. Thanks Geetateet ji for this
charming song.
