brahmabul on Monday, September 16, 2013
Wonderful music. Being a Punjabi, could co-relate with Harshdeep's part.
But didn't understand the Assamese part which ruined the song as a whole
for me. What is the point of hearing songs if one doesn't understand its
meaning. Don't know when Coke Studio India will learn.

naba phukan on Monday, September 16, 2013
Ya same thing here. Couldn't understand a bit of the punjabi part. But I
guess it was music after all.

aaloobhindi on Monday, September 16, 2013

To quote one of my favorite authors, Papon, your voice is like honey poured
over thunder. Excellent episode!

himangshu goswami on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
Its a mixer of Goalporia ( Goalporiya is an Assamese dialect used to speak
in lower Assam near to Bengal) folk and Punjabi folk. Such a great song !!
Music means no boundary

sanjiv srivastava on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
Thnaks Ajay...but it was not because of me.its Papon's Music...ye words

Manoj Sarkar on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
Its a Folk song of Goalpara..One of the part of Assam..Pratima Pandey
was the pioneer of this Folk Domain...

Nishamoni Deka on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
the song is about the life we have... we often count wht we get nd wht
not...bt forget to thank God for blessing us with this life... we spent our
child hood in playng n all.. middle age in love... a.d at the last stage of
our life we keep thinking about wht we got... so the song says every1 to
think less and enjoy life and thank god fr this life..cz life is like the
pot made by sand... and 1 wil it wil break...

himangshu goswami on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
Translation of Assamese Part: Dinae Dinae (day by day) the rocks of my
colorful Dalan (building) of my life gets falling (eroding) my Gosaiji
(God). (If) the childhood passes through laughs and play, the youth through
ronge (fun and joy), and the old through thoughts and recollection, (Then)
when will I get the chance to devote in You my Gosaiji !!

MrJogot on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
Goalpariya folk song. The dialect is spoken by the peple of undivided
Goalpara district (Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Dhubri and kokrajhar). The dialect
is also referred as rajbanshi, kamatapuri, deshi in some of the literature.

PK MASTERY BABA on Tuesday, September 17, 2013
