in Hindi was Aur Pyar Ho Gaya which was a failure and her second Hindi film
Aa Ab Laut Chalen was also a failure. Her review in this film was like this
"Aishwarya Rai sports a plastic smile and never gets a scene where she can
portray any depth". .Her next release which was the romantic drama Hum Dil
De Chuke Sanam, marked a significant turning point in her career which he
gets because of Salman's recommendation.
