Pulkit Kohli on Saturday, July 21, 2012 Listened to that song which you refered. But I think it's pretty different.
R.D. Burman was one of the most gifted music composers and he deserved all
the success which he got.. On another note, I feel Kishore Kumar was better
than Mohammad Rafi..
Agosh Gaur on Monday, July 23, 2012 I agree that there are parts in the song which are not copied at all like the "Mustafa Mustafa" part has no resemblence to "Dekhta hoon.." anywhere, but you cannot deny that the intial part of both the songs sound very similar.
Bookwormygirly on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 regarding plagiariasm - NOOO. This song does NOT sound anything like Ya
Mustafa, and frankly, I think if you hear any similarity even appraoching
such a thing you have no musical ear. The beginning of the song (Mustafa)
includes a flute.. I think some people can't tell the difference between
instruments & ornamentation - "eastern" sounds esp. To say such a thing is
equivalent to saying all "eastern" music sounds alike. The arrangements are
completely different also.
angad raj on Saturday, February 09, 2013 always kishore kumar.
b Sunil on Friday, March 15, 2013 just listen to the song kishore is great
HumanFrailty on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 The tune is borrowed from his father S. D. Burman's Hum Toh Hain Tum Par
Dil Se Fida - Bewaqoof [1960].
Wasif Bashir on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 Hits of kishore kumar..
Wasif Bashir on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 Beauty of RD Burman.
Venkatesh Iyer on Saturday, March 01, 2014 to be musically inspired by one's own genius of a father / other composers
is as natural as breathing. SDB was a superb musician , RDB made his own
mark as a versatile music director. stop commenting on other's musical
capabilities and try and compose ONE song , that the world would remember
you for...ELSE , SHUT UP ! CHEERS, sit back and enjoy the music , that
broke trends and set new ones in those times. R D Burman was in a class by
himself , truly unbeatable.
