this is such a beautiful song and very romantic, and these two have
excellent chemistry

Actuary0664 on Friday, December 28, 2007
Talking about these two icons of indian films of yester-years, did any know
that they were romantically involved and Dimple Kapadia is the product of
that involvement.

subramanianb on Saturday, February 16, 2008
What a chemistry between Nargis and Raj Kapoor! Thanks for the memories.

gorapup on Tuesday, March 04, 2008

nargis was beautiful... lata and mukesh sound great together...two of the
classic voices of bollywood.

Ajay Pandey on Thursday, June 05, 2008
Brother this song is in THE universal language called music.

Naushad Shafkat on Tuesday, July 08, 2008
No doubt one of the best ever duets of hindi cinema ! Raj Kapoor was and
will always remain one of the best actors ever - he can not be bettered as
he was so so natural. Nargis was such s favourite that I had my younger
sister named after he even though I was just 4 at the time. Truly a GREAT
couple-a GREAT film and a GREAT song.

DR HARI RAJ on Monday, August 25, 2008

Sanjeev Nalavade on Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Million dollar line.

divakhan on Friday, December 26, 2008
awesome song!old is gold

marc hills on Monday, January 19, 2009
In this Nargis Ji sure looks international but the acting reminds of so
many ,Eyes like Sridevi ,Nose is mixture of Kajol plus Rekha and a little
bit of Mumtaz and Madhuri .And some true Nargis Ji expressions which no one
can copy. Wow Nargis Ji was a class apart and surely was and is the
inspiration to many.

sonali92 on Friday, February 20, 2009
Brilliant movie

viraasat222 on Monday, February 23, 2009
Nice song, but Nargis looks like a horse, not very pretty. don't get why
pple call her beautiful. I think Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman are
prettier.

Prasoon Joshi on Monday, February 23, 2009
the melody just melts in the ears and keeps flowing into the heart every
time i think of this song ... amazing ...

viraasat222 on Wednesday, March 04, 2009
susumate, u can assume whatever u want, but its my opinion, she DOES look
like a horse and so does her son who is a spitting image of her..

Riaz Uddin on Monday, March 30, 2009
some ppl are really unlucky as are you.

ghrich on Thursday, April 09, 2009
What a song!!! heard it after so long... thanks for uploading. I was
reading the subtitles and the translation was hillarious. Can't believe
someone translated 'pyara kerna' to 'make love' hahaha... anyways.. nice
song!

viraasat222 on Monday, April 13, 2009
why are pple like urself getting offended for? All i said was that Nargis
is ugly, I never said she was a bad actress, actually I think she's one of
the best actresses hindi cinema has ever seen...

nandu1f on Saturday, May 16, 2009
I love the song, but not Raj Kapoor's mophead. I hope no one gets upset at
me for this, as they did for viraasat's comment about Nargis' lack of
(classic) beauty (say, compared with Nutan's). She definitely had a great
presence and fine fine acting (the best in Mother India). Not "ugly" to me,
though.

starone056 on Wednesday, May 20, 2009
Very nice translation..for me..i love it..one of the best romantic
song..for the people of the India..the film industry given.. thanks a
lot... and regards to the moderator.

nasratkha on Wednesday, June 03, 2009
THe mophead is what is actually realistic and natural. See the great thing
abt this fantastic song is that acting was not like acting but a picture of
real day to day life. The emotion expressed is what everybody of flesh &
blood should feel in everyday life in terms of falling in real love. Of
course both Nargis and Raj were Shakespearean real characters and modern
day actors or actresses can never even do anything closed to what they did
in those golden days!!!!!!

MrShabih on Tuesday, June 30, 2009
Great song great actors and great voices!!!

pravchaw on Saturday, July 04, 2009
What a stunning couple and duet!

IBrutus on Sunday, August 09, 2009
What beautiful picturisation - esp. for something shot in '51. Raj Kapoor -
as a director - was so ahead of his time.

jsisag on Monday, August 10, 2009
Gr8 song, but I have to say she looks too artificial...

Imrankniazi on Wednesday, August 12, 2009
I absolutely love this song and listened a lot to this in my childhood. I
never understood until I was 15 or 16, why she says 'doob jaane do kashti
ko' at 4:35. I mean I always thought why would she want the boat to
capsize? :) I was so naive, I never got the poetic analogy!

Imrankniazi on Thursday, August 27, 2009
Yeah ... I get it now, of course .. What I was saying that I was more naive
than most teenagers. I couldn't understand what they call a French kiss
till I was 19 years old .. Lol! Haha ... I am 22 now and wiser in worldly
ways :) I love subtlety in dialogues as in this case! An implicit
expression is much more romantic, I reckon! Awesome picturisation as well.

Padma Kumar on Monday, August 31, 2009
Hats off to the greatest show man of Indian film world.
