the romance between a married man and a courtesan with a lot of empathy... in the backdrop of a boat with the lantern hanging ... makes a courtesan enviable to be loved so heartfully.. these characters could only be brought to life by these two brilliant actors

CayDavey on Saturday, January 24, 2009

When the world keeps you thirsty then the bartender quenches your thirst
when he is the one to make you thirsty then where do you go? its a fact
that in the face of a storm theres nothing one can do about it (2x) its not
the fault of pleasure its the fault of someone else when a boat goes afloat
in the water then the ferryman brings it to the shore when the ferryman
drowns the boat who will help him?

brbapappa on Tuesday, February 10, 2009
Dont ask me how the temple of dreams got broken down (2x) Im not talking
about other people this is the story of my beloved When an enemy hurts you
then a loved one lightens your heart when the one living in your heart
inflicts pain Who will take that pain away? Dont know what would happen
dont know what Id do (2x) When I drink Im alive if I wouldnt drink, Id
die...

brbapappa on Tuesday, February 10, 2009
if a spark starts a fire then the wind extinguishes it but if the wind
ignites the fire then who can extinguish it? (2x) When the fallwind blows
off the leaves then the tree grows flowers But when the flowers get blown
off how will they bloom again?

ab tu sirf saans nikalney ki dair hay.

shubhraprakash on Thursday, February 26, 2009
The tune of the song to it's lyrics is like salt to wound..it just multiplies the pain.great piece of music.truly fabulous.

nadiasbp on Monday, March 02, 2009
Composition and music arrangement was nice but i think Kishore can do far
better than that. For example, in the segment, NA JANEY KYA HO JATA, he
tried to make his voice little drunk-like but after that he come back to
the strong sound that he has at the begining. Similarly at some words he
can put stress like dunya jo PYASA rakhey to mudra PYAS bujhaey... have a
great room for emotions. Any how the song is great.

fearofhorror on Tuesday, March 03, 2009
lyrics brilliant...kisor da as alwayzzz .absolutely amazzing

shanks008 on Saturday, March 07, 2009
R.D Burman, He was really good. A R rahman is called today's R.D Burman. I agree with that. These people are exceptions.

brbapappa on Saturday, March 14, 2009
O rly?... That does make more sense :-) Can't edit it though, or can I?

mehboobchai on Tuesday, March 17, 2009
I agree that AR Rahman is good. But please accept the fact that RD Burman is one of a kind. No one in history came even close to him. AR Rahman is sets a higher standard in composing. RD Burman is a legend. I feel great pain in the heart that he isn't among us anymore.
Thanks for paying your respect.

God bless
