Like angels singing in heaven. Difficult instrument to play. A true master,
like her father.

swatcat95 on Sunday, July 08, 2012
:) :') :'D

Ukie Geno on Tuesday, July 10, 2012
I love women named anoushka. Idk why. LOL. And her sitar playing is
heavenly

dustymiller65 on Friday, July 20, 2012
Why does her sitar weep? -does it remember the cloying, lost promise of
paradise? -was it's innocent and sweet, mellifluous heart broken? -perhaps
it mourns for the longing embrace of a soul mate that will never be known?
-or maybe, in the depths of night's cold embrace, it realizes the vast
emptiness that sorrow and gloom may never fill, no matter how much of each
there is? -broken, slowly sinking, it is drowning in an ocean of tears...
Perhaps, that is what it is like to breathe underwater.

Awesome Anoushka!

Denise Brutus on Wednesday, August 08, 2012
When i heared Anoushka's music for the first time it was a R E V E L A T I
O N to me.. Breathing under water is soooo beautiful that it brings
tears to my eyes. Deeply moving & melancholic. She, Anoushka, is made
for the S I T A R...a heavenly instrument... BR E A T H I N G under W A T E
R ...like an ancestral longing to live under the sea.were we once
belonged maybe?...

ACCOMPANIED BY HISPAT SHISHYA NONE OTHER THAN HIS DAUGHTER ANOUSHKA

1ElCondor on Wednesday, August 29, 2012
It's very exciting, captivating and soothing, hear musical notes, combining
melodic, deeply felt, emanating from the hands and the soul of this young
and talented artist Anoushka Shankar. Always loyal and determined to
respect, and to make known its roots. It is commendable.

I don't think it has ever been about age. You don't know by the time she
gets his age what she's doing. Let's just live in the present and enjoy :)

Kaushik Guha on Wednesday, December 12, 2012

playing here anymore.

Renee Knight on Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Renee Knight on Wednesday, December 12, 2012
It's an amazing movie about a bunch of previously unconnected British
Retirees who decide to settle in India and the story of what happens there.
Any more would spoil it for you.

George Patsanis on Thursday, December 13, 2012
Thank you for your kind words my friend.. This is the universal, magical
uniting force of music and every aspect of its good wiling existence..
Softening people's soul suffering and pain.. helping the rebirth of our
lives, somewhere, somehow, sometime.. It feels so comfort sharing my
feelings at this time.. May all calm and happiness be with you and the ones
you love.. George P

Absolute magic. Ravi Shankar may have joined George Harrison but his music
gene is very much alive.
