urdu hindi awadhi or even latin does it make any difference enjoy the
little time left on this planet folks

@raktsambandh Your take is wrong mate. Standard Urdu is conventionally
written in Nastaliq calligraphy style of the Perso-Arabic script and relies
heavily on Persian and Arabic as a source for technical and literary
language, whereas Standard Hindi is conventionally written in Devanāgarī
and draws on Sanskrit. However, both have large numbers of Persian, Arabic,
and Sanskrit words, and most linguists consider them to be two standardized
forms of the same language.

@raktsambandh cheers mate! :) and same to you folks ;)

@kscheema78 Thats hilariously true, you just made my day.

I don't care what language this song is because it is such an awesome song
no matter what language it is sung in. Always makes me want to dance. Also
great movie as well. ^^

141cbc on Saturday, August 27, 2011
@saintz2k7 you missed the point altogether! Indian or not indian language
is NOT the issue. Issue here is that URDU being used predominantly now in
bollywood for the last 20 years or so is being blatantly presented and
labled as Hindi by many in Indian circles.so if you were to own up to a
language which you claim was created by Indians, then your argument won't
be so laughable either ;)

141cbc on Sunday, August 28, 2011
@sabreena1khalick good to know you. lucknow is where the heartland of Urdu
really exists - and excellent mannerisms - very sophisticated..our
neighbors in karachi were from lucknow..

Farooq Ilyas on Monday, August 29, 2011
This is Meerathi Language in this film my place if you can understsnd
without special attantion I swear you are master.

141cbc on Thursday, September 01, 2011
@raktsambandh it's funny how you are trying to belittle and knocking Urdu,
whilst being under the full knowledge that Hindi has been "jettisoned" and
DISCARDED by the Indians in their search for status improvement and Urdu
has all but replaced Hindi on the Indian media scene...yes, what is Urdu u
ask...something which has completely knocked out Hindi (which is now
considered the language of the old-fashioned in India now).

141cbc on Thursday, September 01, 2011
@sabreena1khalick i just gave him a dossier of a lesson ...sabak sikhaya
diya hai...chehra dikha diya hai aur hakeekat batla dee hai hindi k baare
mei ;)

141cbc on Thursday, September 01, 2011
@sabreena1khalick hey! look up...caption has been changed - it does not
say HINDI song anymore!!! kudos to Eros for baring the obvious truth :)

Sarvam Jagadidam on Friday, September 02, 2011
@mszRudegyaL Lol. And to add to that, even persian has heavily influenced
both urdu and hindi and is itself an indo-european language, related to
sanskrit, the mother tongue of most of the world's languages born and
raised in India!

141cbc on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@swordebrithil12 yah its an awesome Urdu song! thanks for acknowledging..

141cbc on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@raktsambandh what are you on about man! amitabh and shahrukh speaking
proper "hindi"? quite the contrary.they are locked in a battle to
impressive others through shaistaa Urdu...amitabh's poetry is also in Urdu.
kabhee kabhee mere dil mei khayal aata hai! wow...thats is shaista urdu,
not harsh hindi...

swordebrithil12 on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@141cbc I know I'm Paki and I speak Urdu and I have no problem with Indians
speaking it. :-)

141cbc on Sunday, September 04, 2011
@swordebrithil12 not a problem with them speaking it, but a lot of
convoluted denial in them in refusing to admit that they are speaking and
using indeed URDU and not Hindi :)

141cbc on Sunday, September 04, 2011
@sabreena1khalick Exactly! i think those who are sticking their heads in
the sand and keep on saying that it is Hindi being used in bollywood, would
be well-served watching on national TV "Hindi" news.it may remind them
of some old Mithun movie lingo, a far cry from the euphonic stuff of URDU
prevalent on bollywood scene now..

swordebrithil12 on Sunday, September 04, 2011
@141cbc That's a different matter then. Don't know why they wouldn't admit
it, there's really no harm in saying that you're speaking another language.
They use English all the time and have no problem admitting it, nor do
Americans/British in allowing them to.

Vineet Iyer on Saturday, September 17, 2011
Urdu and Hindi are sister languages... They both originated from Sanskrit
which by far is known to be the oldest written language. Ancient
Mesopotamia also had a language which if dated dates to the same time as
Sanskrit. Tamil is the next but cannot be dated. But Dravidians are known
to share their people with ancient Mesopotamia.

141cbc on Saturday, September 17, 2011
@sabreena1khalick yah sabreena...fact is that Hindi is NOT euphonic at
all...Urdu is awesome in this respect...there is no problems in the whole
of India going kaboom and using predominantly Urdu language but some of
them still adamant that it is Hindi and not Urdu.you talked precise when
you said these fellows need to listen to HINDI NEWS to see what it is...far
cry from Urdu..few would listen to hindi songs in this day and age..

141cbc on Saturday, September 17, 2011
@sabreena1khalick exactly!! The RSS has been rabidly campaigning against
the Bachchans because of the same facts.Amitabh discarded using Hindi
more than three dacades ago...is all about Urdu since 80s...

141cbc on Saturday, September 17, 2011
@vineetiyer urdu has some similarity to hindi but is NOT a sister
language.and is mostly derived from Persian, not Sanskrit.. anyway at
least you admitting to this being an Urdu song, albeit indirectly..

fandie42 on Saturday, September 17, 2011
@Juggernautishere meaning?

@Kscheema78: person who race in special olympics are not retards; they are
handicapped.

Gasper Agacy on Thursday, September 29, 2011
@141cbc for ur kind info when i learnt urdu from a maulana i was told that
the structure of this language is from hindi and sanskrit. 60% of language
is from hindi and sanskrit specially the structural part, 25% is from
Arabic mostly the glossary and vocabulary, 10% is from Persian specially
the way of writing and the way of speaking and receiting and 5% is from
Turkish coz when the language was made Turks were ruling india. so would u
still say it is not a sister language of hindi?

141cbc on Friday, September 30, 2011
@ParkwayStudios lol...you are either biased or simply lack knowledge about
the subject matter.

141cbc on Friday, September 30, 2011
@gasperagacy kaunse maulana? what a maulana says is not gospel. There is
massive prevalence of persian too in Urdu by the way...so much so that when
in london used to talk to my friend in Urdu in the company of his turk
girlfriend, she used to understand majority of what was being talked about..

141cbc on Friday, September 30, 2011
@sabreena1khalick Well! Amitabh and the other Bacchans was under threat two
years ago from RSS which was mighty peeved at his inclination to serve Urdu
rather than Hindi. I think those who still are stuck in the rut that the
bollywood movies are in "hindi" must watch the epic Indian serial
MAHABHARAT and compare and contrast the language being employed - now THAT
is what you call hindi - quite starkly different from Urdu.
