Talat was already a well established playback singer in Calcutta but the opportunies for singers and actors were unlimited in Bombay. Talat worked with Naushad in Babul. Arzoo song "Aye Dil Mujhes Aesi Jagah Le Chal" composed by Anilda was released Babul songs. The word went out as "Anil gave Talat his first song". So, Talat who had immense love and respect for Anilda, stood by that.
