Actually this song is sung by Hemlata and not by Lata jee as you mentioned. she has done full justice to this song and it is one of my favourite too. Sad that this singer didnot get more songs as others did. or else she would have become more renowned singer of that time. Biased atittude of the bollywood has brought downfall of many promising singers of that era. Hemlata ji you had won hearts of many from this songs, simply mind blowing!!!

Biased atittude of the bollywood had ruined the promising careers of many talented singers duuring that era.. Hemlata ji you have won the hearts of millions through this song!!!
