Perhaps the most beautiful song ever picturised on Reena Roy. The dance, the music, the lyrics, the sets, the costumes, everything... is breathtaking. This is the best of the best.

Aasha is a masterpiece. In 1980 it was the most successful film outbeating Amitabh Bachchan's classics like Ram Balram, Dostana, and Shaan. Unfortunately the media today is indifferent to it.

jeetendra was very underated

one could be underated, but there will always be those who will appreciate you & lift you high. that's the story & life of the legend, JEETENDRA. he said in 1980 in Stardust interview that 'you do your best in life & leave the rest to God'. as he acted, he took all the critics who always panned with all humility. one thing we must appreciate in life is 'if you are good, you are good'. Jeetu is good (that's just it). that's why everything he touches turns GOLD. HUMILITY IS KEY TO GOOD LIFE. cheer

thanks so much ARMAANUK. what i want to say is that people should take time to watch or re-watch all jeetuji's films & songs to understand that JEETENDRA IS GOOD. am a Nigerian & we watch movies from the world over be it Hollywood, Bollywood, Chinese, British etc; so we are very objective when it comes to cinema. This medium is not enough to discuss the icon, Jeetuji. here's one hero that acts in heroine-oriented films to give the actresses boost of their life - Aasha, Chorni, Insaf Ki Devi, etc

J.O. Prakash is a great heart. thanks to him for understanding the acting prowess of the likes of Jeetuji, Reena, Parveen, etc. so also Gulzar who showcased Jeetuji in his classic films with the beauty queen, Hema. check out this song btw 2.06secs & 2.28secs & see the solemnity on Jeetu's face as he sang. old indians stars have done great; but critics just run down some of them. in america, critics are objective is they talk on acting; directing, screenplay etc; & they dont run down stars anyhow

Rafi & Lata best duet pair of all time.

I have to confess I often like this song better than 'Sheesha ho ya dil ho' - maybe because 'Sheesha ho...' has been so overplayed & this one doesn't get heard often enough.
