tanniaimran on Saturday, September 27, 2008 I am sorry to say but she does not know how to
sing a ghazal.
She lacks the delicacies which are required
for singing a ghazal.
No doubt she is a good singer, but this
does not mean she can sing everything.
Well this is what i thought...
Some people might disagree with me.
manumanish on Monday, October 06, 2008 i would rather say we cnt really compare a gazal sung by farida ji and same sung by asha ji...Farida ji has a completly her own style of singing gazal which u can say very typical gazal singer...
but as far as asha ji is concerned she has done a total fair with this gazal she has made it her own song..and sung in her own way though one thing is sure i couldnt really feeel the rendition of this gazal ..but still we cnt say that she buchred this gazal...
tanniaimran on Tuesday, October 07, 2008 You are right that asha ji sung it with her
own style.
But to me its no more a ghazal, it
is more closer to a song.
There is a difference between ghazal and
song singing.
sheetaan on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 i have never liked this version..although no one doubts her voice and stature as a highly professional singer.but i beleive too much of remixing ruined the original song.above all NO TABLA EFFECT ...stick to the basics.
omap1710 on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 The guitar at the starting was awfull!!!!!
scorpmaddy on Thursday, October 16, 2008 awful remix..only asha's voice acts a saving grace..the simplicity in the notes is the one which mad this song a masterpiece..screwed the song with slack acoustics
sweetbear1999 on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 This is reality and i spend this type of time.I love this song. I pray this song will never stops.
stormvixen on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 I LOVE this song!!! : ) x x x
brokenwings786 on Sunday, November 09, 2008 Asha did it well... but Farida's version is awesome!
amipiyu on Sunday, December 07, 2008 original is awesome. Asha ji sang well too but the western instruments
have killed the beauty of the song.
AhmedSaeed84 on Saturday, January 03, 2009 well it doesnt matter if its pak music or indian, for me the Original one is far better though asha is a great singer.
TrueZen9 on Saturday, January 10, 2009 Asha Ji rocks ... :) heavenly voice
dekhna on Saturday, January 10, 2009 Let me listen to the song argue some where else. Cannot even listen to the music without people grabbing each others shirts.
Larai jhagra bund karoo
omap1710 on Thursday, January 22, 2009 no, the organ at the beginning was screwed up , everything else is perfect

Hasan Syed on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 Original song by Habib Wali is the best.
shadow0466666594 on Saturday, April 18, 2009 No disrespect to Asha Ji, she is a great singer, but why did she really need to sing this? Farida Khanum's version is way better.
nandu1f on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 wonderful. Superb.
Cyrus Syed on Friday, May 01, 2009 Asha is a great singer but she ruined this ghazal
naveed705 on Sunday, May 03, 2009 Asha well done but you are still long away from Farida. This song was naturally written for farida, nobody can sing it the way she had sung.
atanughosal on Monday, May 11, 2009 This is exactly what happens when a pure classical piece is attempted to be commercliased for mass acceptance. FaridaJi's version is real gem of a 'classical' ,based on Yeman, AshaJi's version is a "pop music" ... and that explains all these comments
sourabhakapablo on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 Love Asha ji's version...it has the appeal for the younger generation.
pakgroove on Thursday, May 21, 2009 no doubt dear, Farida jee is the best. we also respect the asha jee too.

nickkohri on Saturday, August 01, 2009 And the version by Habib Wali is still the best.
Hastalavistas on Sunday, August 02, 2009 How can i judge that you are a girl if you can write such a vulgar language.
Maheshsawant07 on Thursday, August 06, 2009 Bass Meri Aakhri Khwahish Puri kar di bosss kab se dhund raha tha
2002salman on Monday, August 10, 2009 cheating kar k hi ache gane bante hain indians k after all asal ghazal to hamari hai...:P
mulan400 on Friday, August 14, 2009 The least they could've done is credit Sohail Rana as the composer and music director for this beautiful ghazal.
sonusonu89 on Saturday, August 15, 2009 ye song ko gana koi Aasan baat nahi
Asha bhosle ye song aap ke baas ki baat nahi wohi baat ho gayi naach na janey aanhan terha ...ab ye hi song Shafqat AMANAT ki awaaz main bhi sun kar dekyein phir pata lagey ga gana kiss ko kehtey hain ...
shaiyanne17 on Monday, August 17, 2009 she did a good job with the song...i enjoyed the video.i love this song
but the original version.
matsharma on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 Well...this album was Asha bhosle's tribute to the World famous Ghazal singers..like...Mehndi hasan, Ghulam ali, Farida khanum, Jagjit singh
I think this will end the debate now...
Inspire me. on Thursday, August 27, 2009 song is very well picturised.

apm292 on Saturday, October 10, 2009 agree...but it was to inform those who thinks that it is an purely Indian song.
pester1 on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 What does ghazal means ?
Anyone?
Is that the kind of song that made prince Siddhartha think of death?
sk8kar89 on Sunday, November 01, 2009 "do not insist to leave today
please sit here before me
il die, il be looted
please dont say things like this
do not insist to leave today"
its about love. as u can see in the video, there are couples breaking up and one says "do not not insist to leave today"
