So I'm not a singing pro BUT I know what's wrong with her singing: 1. she needs to OPEN HER MOUTH and sing Alka Yagnik / Lata Mangeshkar say this over and over again. 2. She needs to open her nasal area and BREATHE. This will make her voice sound less 'heavy' less like she just came from a marathon race. And she will also sound more like a lady honestly. There are yoga exercises that help to improve breathing.
